Prepare to defend yourselves Elks members of ATS.

Not much is mentioned about the B&POE here on ATS. Why?

Lets list a few facts here-

5 US Presidents
8 Known Members of Congress
19 known entertainment figures

And most likely countless of other unknowns ! They have been silently growing and growing SINCE 1868!!

With a 1 million + membership growing in the US alone, what is stopping these dastardly peoples?

www.angelfire.com...

As for the herd mentality, one of the major distinctions of the Elks is their blind patriotism and unconditional love of the United States. Every meeting in an Elks lodge devotes time to honoring the flag, and Flag Day is an important Elks event. At the same time, it is forbidden to discuss politics at Elks meetings. To create an atmosphere of brotherhood among beer guzzling quadrupeds, religion and politics are officially kept out. Remember, good civic virtue means we can all agree to prostrate ourselves before armed serviceman and the flag!

They allegedly "worship the flag" during every meeting and Flag Day is an important if not the most important day for members. Sounds fishy.

Elks have meetings and initiations in a similar fashion as the secret society of Freemasons.

I think it is time for us ATSers to truly reveal who these people really are!! They hide in the shadows similar if not WORSE than any other secret society out there. What could their secret agenda be?

WHAT ESOTERIC KNOWLEDGE DO THEY POSSESS?

I used to clean a Elk's Lodge every Thursday
after Bingo night. They would drink like fish &
trash the place, but I didn't see anything ominous.

Indeed. Supporting and upholding the constitution while professing a belief in God. Doing charitable works, Dinners for vets, Santas handing out presents, scholarships....nefarious bastards.

That is just a cover, just like the masons or any other secret society. A cover to increase their ranks and acceptance among people.

That is how the Antichrist operates. He is loved by many. He gains respect of the world.

Hello, my insider friend. Anything else that looked weird or out of the ordinary when you were inside the lodge?

I'm a member of the ELKS in Canada,we sure seem to be different from your American group. We try to use our money to help Children with hearing problems. We donate to schools and other people in need or direct them to other organizations. We sold our old building a couple years ago as we couldn't afford the up keep.We have a hard job getting people to join,a lot of younger people don't want to give of themselves volunteering.I know my ELK group is not trying to take over the world and have not heard any rumblings about it from across Canada.

The Masons and Templars also do a lot of charitable work and many follow a religion but they still recieve a lot of accusations. The point isn't that the organisation is evil or random members are evil but that a fraternity is in control of a large part of our governments/societies.

I was a member of the ELKs in the US. We would have the annual hoop shootout for the local communities. We would also collect food donations from local businesses to give to poor and needy families for Christmas. There would be at least 60 baskets go out to these families every Christmas. We worked with the Vets in the VA home, we had fund raisers amongst ourselves when it came to helping a family that may have lost everything due to a home fire,etc...

Would it make a difference if they had their jobs before becoming members of a fraternal organization?

Hell, some of our members don't even have jobs, but man they can sure cook a steak and smoke some ribs.

Unfortunately in America, nationalism, patriotism and US imperialism, state terrorism / narco-terrorism are considered virtues. Support for the long history of US imperial aggression, black operations, false flag operations, assassinations and miltiary coups is equated with Christian repectibility.

The world outside America has a very different perspective however, and much of what American Christian Neofascists consider to be "good" is considered to be "evil" by their millions of enemies and victims. In time there will no doubt be a natural dialectical militant backlash, an inevitable karmic reaction against American state terrorism and imperialism, which in a nuclear age is likely to be terrible and dreadful; however unfortunately one of the sources of this hostility can be expected to be from miltant Islam, which itself provides no real solution or progressive alternative to US state terrorism and is an even more regressive ideology that American Capitalism and nationalism.

In time the two great religions of the past, Christianity and Islam, will wage apocalyptic war against each other, and hopefully will annhiliate each other. Rather than fighting our Christian and Islamic enemies, I consider it to be more practical from a Machiavellian pragmatic persepective to simply encourage them to eradicate each other. One cannot make peace with the world's economic slavemaster without surrendering to enslavement, and thus war seems to be the only option.

If the US were intent on liberating the Islamic world and the Third World and inciting socialist revolution, they would be considered a more popular and heroic nation by the world's population, however their imperialistic agenda has always been quite the opposite of that, and they have a long history of seeking to overthrow and wage war against progressive socialist regimes; they simply wage war for their own selfish economic interests.

It is only in the 21st century that America has turned it's attention from propping up Latin American dictators of the far right, who have seved US interests, and has begun it's overt war against Islam, which in a nucelar age may well turn out to be a "bridge too far," and have apolcayptic consequences.

All the evil that the US state terrorists have sown on the earth shall, in time, come back upon them. Great and Terrible and Dreadful and Wrathful shall be the Day of Judgement, and it shall not be a "miracle" but the military application of science.

Physics is War. Propaganda is the first stage of war. Words are weapons.

I've heard the Elks referred to as "Freemasons-Lite" with regard to esoteric work, ritual, and oaths. Are there any Mason/Elk members that could confirm or deny this?

Great thread. Glad I could read this. If you'll excuse me now I'm going to read about more heinous and vile acts committed by freemasons. Haven't gotten through all the new lodge rape articles.
