Wikileaks' Julian Assange to be extradited to Sweden

www.bbc.co.uk

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange should be extradited to Sweden to face sexual assault allegations, a judge has ruled.

At Belmarsh Magistrates' Court in south London, District Judge Howard Riddle said the extradition would not breach Mr Assange's human rights.

Mr Assange said the ruling, which he will challenge, was due to a "European Arrest Warrant system run amok".

The 39-year-old denies three allegations of sexual assault and one of rape last August in Stockholm.

Well this is very interesting to say the least. The juge has ruled that he can be extradited. I do wonder however, if there has been any musceling or pressure put upon the judge to come to this decision.

Well now the Appeals process, will probably commence no doubt.. One thing is for sure,1 for those who want thier hands o Assange.Zero for those who want to keep Assange here.

Well we see what happens. Hoping that he just gets the charges done with and can return free. If US tries to extradite then the its going to be time to really start to fight.

Did you see his press conference after the ruling?
He looks and sounds angry and worried.
He knows his Cuban orange jumpsuit is crawling ever closer to him with every breath now.

He has basically been screwed over by the system he is trying to fight.
How he hopes to win i do not know.

He did make some good points about the European arrest warrant though IMO.
Would not like to be in his shoes right now...
