At 145 meters/pixel you wouldn't be able to make out the Astrodome. Manhattan Island would look like a sliver of coffee cake.

JP Skipper has long stated that the improvements of obscuring technologies would eventually cause all NEW information to be seamless lies. He believes that is true now. The only information that can be trusted is, by necessity, primitive. These items were produced prior to the sophisticated techniques currently employed to confuse the gullible. When you examine the NEW and IMPROVED versions all evidence of anomalies are destroyed even though NO NEWLY GENERATED evidence has been substituted. They just create the information to fill in those anomalies.

I have personally observed in Apollo images blatant duplications of terrain which masked something. I have seen the removal of information from photos through cropping.

The question raised is what is being removed, disguised or camouflaged?
Subsequently, what motivates the manipulation?

Your posting of a wholly sanitized image is dis-information and you are either a lazy lackey or an active agent of this effort by posting it.
There is no alternative description of you or your actions or challenges.

Since we DO have evidence of prior machinations by NASA and of their privatized henchman, why should this new piece of fantasy affect our feelings or thoughts of these louts?

Remember we still have not had the release of all of the Clementine images. There were 1.7 million taken and the official Navy site still shows blanks in the panoramic zoomable image. (Cross reference links are broken also.) The vast majority of unreleased data is the most detailed information. Since the Japanese have done a complete survey also (with similar stylized releases) is 'National Security' still a concern? Why did they lie about the Hubble imaging capacities?

Let me bring the discussion down to earth:

Mapping programs such as Google Maps integrate multiple images - taken with different resolutions, at different times, from different angles and under different lighting conditions to make an approximation of one integrated overhead view.

Stitching artifacts of one type or another are very common. Just scroll around Manhattan and you will find many, such as this one.

Google Earth/Moon/Mars adds to the fun by overlaying this approximation (artifacts and all) onto a digital elevation map. The resolution of the DEM is quite low - much lower than the photographic overlay. For example, here is a photograph of Devil's Tower, in Wyoming, as viewed from the south:

If an Apollo surface photograph differed from a Google Moon representation of the same area, we'd never hear the end of it on ATS. What's worse is that many people would assume that the the digital model is correct and therefore the Apollo photo must be "fake".

Another problem with overlaying an overhead image onto a digital map is that details on a vertical surface can be blurred and even lost. You can certainly see this in the Devil's Tower images, above. Here's an even better example. This is an aerial photo of Mount Rushmore in South Dakota:

I have yet to hear people complaining that the US Geologic Survey is altering photographs to hide signs of intelligent works.

This brings up another point: The USGS did not alter the image of Mt. Rushmore, any more than NASA altered the photo in the OP. The original overlay photos were provided by government agencies, however the stitching and other algorithms for Google was done by Digital Globe, a private company, as a form of advertising (all Google Earth images have the Digital Globe copyright).

Google Earth, Google Moon, Google Mars and Google Sky are toys. Yes, they are interesting and fun. They can be educational and - under certain limited conditions - useful; but make no mistake: They were designed primarily to look cool and be entertaining, so as to showcase the Google brand and Digital Globe products. If they were really valuable resources, then there would be a charge for using them - they would not be freeware. Also, keep in mind that the data for Earth is much more comprehensive than for the Moon or Mars. Therefore, Google Moon and Google Mars are even less accurate than Google Earth!

I think david icke has a point when he says the craters have the same kind of depth to them all over the moon (well the bit we can see). As if the there is a hard inner core and the outer core is for show.

He can only have a point if what he says is correct. It's not. It's not even close.

If David Icke told me the time, I'd check a clock.

I see a number of areas where large pixelated squares have been "pasted" over the surface. Could be a cover up but do note that the (human/alien) structures are suppose to be on the backside of the moon which means you wouldn't see moon structures on here. Also which side of the moon did Neil Armstrong land on? If it was the near side we should see all the rovers and equipment from 1969. If they are not there and they are suppose to be, it could back up conspiracy theorists claims that we never went to the moon. Neil Armstrong has been mighty quiet over the last 42 years. I'm sorry but there is something up with that. Debunkers say he is just a private person but that makes no sense because if he were that private he would not have signed up to be the first person to walk on the moon. Then there was that odd press conference a few weeks after Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. The three astronauts sounded like they were at a funeral and at times seemed shaken up about something. It was like they didn't want to be at that press conference. I'm pretty good at reading people through body language and I can tell you something is wrong here.

My view of Mt. Rushmore is a little better but they chose to scan in on a cloudy day.
Google Earth did a great job at Mt. Saint Helens, WA / S.P. Crater Flagstaff,AZ/
Toroweap Point, AZ / Also i now know where the VLA is located in New Mexico.
It's not to far from Magdalena, NM -UFO Hot spot-.

I see my mistake in typing "Belive in google moon" What I was trying too do was answering Eurisko2012 question regarding the coordinates of that crater in the picture i posted earlier. So I meant to say I think the coordinates of the crater in google moon is 62°00'28.88" 19°41'04.92

The moon used to rotate millions of years ago but it slowed down to a stop, so there are craters all over it, planet earth is slowing down too and will eventually stop.

I see a major lack of human presense on the moon and that makes me sad. As far as buildings and such? I'm not a believer in such things. call me a skeptic who has seen a UFO and then continued eating his steak while my friends rushed to get a camera.(I had camera near me but steak was to important). Pretty pictures and thanks OP for the link.

How can you expect to see a 3-meter rover in OP imagery where the resolution is 147m/pixel?

Somehow, in your looking for things that don't add-up, you overlooked that little detail.

And before you say that what you really meant was other imagery that does show the Apollo equipment, links to those pix have already been posted in this thread at least twice.

This is an amazing photo, but I wasn't looking around for three minutes before I noticed some things that made me instantly think "COVERUP!!!"
The crater close to the center in the SW quadrant, with debris that can be seen without zooming, has a neighbor to the south. If you try to examine what is in the bottom of THAT crater, it's blurred out!!!
There is another crater to the west oh these craters, very close to the center, that has an obvious cut-and-paste element in the bottom of the crater.
Just follow this motif, and I'm sure you'll find others...

Sometimes I think ATSers think that The Smoking Man and Agent Smith personally supervise every pixel.

This 24,000 x 24,000 mosaic was created by one or more Arizona grad students who probably didn't get paid anything extra for doing it. They put it together from LROC WAC imagery because it is cool and they wanted to share what they do with the public.

For their efforts,internet ignorami use every flaw to insinuate that they are liars, conspiritors, "disinformation specialists" and worse.
