Best to stay away from the whole "look at the shadows" angle, I have found.

I am very surprised the shadow defenders have been in here and doing their debating etc.

Which, by-the-way, is a good read also.

This is all good, if, and I say, IF, this is really the moon..OR is it something they want us to believe is the moon????

Let me see the ATS member who claims there are buildings etc up there on the Moon, use this...

Smart people put lunar buildings under the regolith...

sorry for posting all these but this is also strange it looks like it has been tampered with by the looks of the rectangles and what not almost like a copy paste look to it...just seen some posts saying "lets see you people find buildings " although the buildings could be on the side that none of us can see it is very easy to airbrush things out or as i showed in a previous pic just keep it blurred.

Could anyone please confirm the scaling ratio?
Is it 145 meters per pixel?

NASA ALWAYS lies. The other day I read from someone at NASA that we should never trust them and do our own research.

So now Im really confused... What do I do???

Great thread OP. But as mentioned the resolution is still far from adequate enough to satisfy the moongooglers who see faces in craters, exhaust vents, bridges etc etc...

Enter the NASA disinfo agent right on cue!

He wants you to argue with him because that way he can throw confusion back at you.

Beware leaualorin - they are against ATS.

?????????????????????? look at the shadow it looks like this is a structure more than a rock can really believe that rocks form inside craters it would of been destroyed when the "asteroid" hit it.

That's a "rille" (a long channel depression caused by a collapsed lava tube). The white line is one side of the rille (the short vertical walls of the rille being lit up by the sun) and the dark line is the other side of the rille (with the vertical wall casting a dark shadow).

So the light and dark lines are both on the surface, running basically parallel to each other.

The mountain in the center was actually caused by the asteroid impact.

It's called an "center uplift mountain", and some craters have them. They are formed when the meteor impact causes the ground to be pushed in, which then rebounds elastically, and forms the mountain, much like what happens with water drops (I posted this video on page 2, but it applies here):

Here's an illustration of how these are formed:

145m/pixel, these photos are old hat. Last night I was watching the new national geographic special 'The Eye', about the Very Large Telescope (VLT) which is located in the Atacama desert in Chile and operated by the European Space Agency. One of the technicians interviewed said they could resolve a 2 euro coin on the moon! I wanna see those photos!!
