Activity off the coast of California, this time there is an explanation.

Joint U.S.-Israel Arrow Weapon System successfully intercepted a ballistic target missile. The target missile was launched from a Mobile Launch Platform off the coast of California.

The Arrow Weapon System then launched an interceptor missile which performed its planned trajectory and destroyed the target missile

Controlled test and real life ain't the same thing, especially when it comes to WAR...

And from the video, it seems the missile they launch is not that big... and not at top speed, recreating the final phase of a missile...

So that test is most likely to receive more funding to show it's advancing... but in real terms... against let's say a Sajil missile on final phase... just no.

Granted, real time is different. But word has it that the Sajil missile is
just an old missile with a new name.

If I was to place a bet, it would not be on the Sajil missile.

Apparently there have been previous testss....

I wonder what other defense systems have been tested that the public knows nothing about.

The test of the upgraded Arrow 2 missile, manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) (TASE: ARSP.B1), completes a series of tests conducted in the past few months aimed at dealing with the more sophisticated missile being developed by Iran and Syria.

The test was jointly tested by the Israel Air Force, Ministry of Defense's Homa Missile Defense Agency and the US Missile Defense Agency
