Fire alarm Just sounded on the one show and they had to cut to a VT Ive never seen this before .

What is going on with the BBC ONE show( Magazine show with topical reports, features and interviews from around the UK). A fire alarm just went off as I was watching with an audible warning to leave the building the show at this moment is off the air.www.bbc.co.uk... Hope its nothing serious. They are now running a cookery show in its place.

Maybe some prankster smashed the glass, when they shouldn't have. Or maybe, there is a fire somewhere in the building and therefore this has set off the alarm. Damn inconsiderate though if you were watching!!

I don't live in the UK, and don't know this show...

But my CT mind begs for the question:

Was anyone "special" suppose to make an appearance (a guest) on this show?

Rip OFF Britain is on now. IN all my years of watching tv Ive never seen them shut down a show because of a fire alarm. As you said could be a prankster. I'm trying to find more info but nothing so far. Did anybody else see it?

Just had unconfirmed reports that Adrian Chiles has declared his Al Qaeda ties and has taken Jeremy Paxman hostage and is threatening to blow him up unless he gets free pies in the beeb canteen. The government has sent its condolences to the Paxman family! On the bad side, our license fee will now go up!

They probably pulled the show because It's the most god-awful piece of crap on tv....

Or lets hope so anyway

while its almost certainly nothing serious (terrorist attack, V etc) it might be someone up to a more mundane prank, I await more news eagerly.

Just got that ,unfortunately or fortunately its the female Alex Jones not the highly strung loud mouth from the states.

You really are an angel bringing this to my attention.
This is the best thing that could have happened to the one show,IMO.
Hopefully it will never be shown again.
It is yet another reason I do not watch TV.
This worse than sewage program is the flagship prime time disscussion show of the BBC.
They really think we are that dumb,thats what hurts.


This is why I ignore the TV in my native UK.
