I have dual English-American citizenship as one of my parents is American and the other one is English.

I am thinking about voting in the next elections if I can but, I'm unsure if I'm eligible as I live in the UK and have never lived in America.

Does anyone know?

And if so how do I go about it?

I am unsure if you are eligible also. I am thinking you are not.

Go ahead and try to register though, the worst that can happen is they will turn you down.

You have to apply for an absentee ballot here I think to see if your eligible.

I just asked my gf who is also a dual citizen but she says she wouldn't vote in the US elections because she doesn't live there any more so doesn't feel she can make a well enough informed decision
