Well I don’t understand their reasoning.

Compared to what the industrial factories release, surly those chemicals are much greater than the smoke from a cigarette.

I would rather walk into a cigarette cloud than a hot-dog induced flatulent and/or belch cloud in a park. I'm pretty sure both would have the same severely minimal impact on my longevity as a human.

Ban hot dogs in NYC!!!

What next? Laws against people breaking wind, coughing or sneezing in a public place.

Oh, how about those people that stink if BO, or pour on loads of perfume or aftershave.

This is outside ffs! Seriously, !

All those who complain that they can't stand the smell, walk away or don't go out n public!.

PLUS: All the tourists from foreign countries are going to be hit with tickets, they are used to smoking where they want to.

Police officer to foreign tourist... "Welcome to the land of the free. Our laws dictate that you put out that cigarette." And the tourist squashes the cig out on the ground.

Police officer... "Oh and by the way, here is a ticket for littering." "I also noticed that you have been standing here for 8 minutes now, so here is a ticket for loitering too".
