Why is it I can search on google for news links, click on the results, and receive the news page and read the whole thing,...

but when I link the url in the posts, the news link now leads to a subscriber log-in page.

It gets a bit frustrating when I post something, and then cannot share it as easily as I found it.

(I dont have any subscriptions to news links...example... Washington Post website)

Example...

Google search link...
www.google.com... 8&oe=UTF-8&q=enron+bankruptcy+2004

then click on... near the very top...which gives you the news linked
Federal Judge Approves Enron Bankruptcy Plan - Washington Post
... this link pulled off the google page...(but again gives subscriber login)
www.google.com... url?sa=X&oi=news&start=0&num=1&q=http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A53231-2004Jul15.html

While reading the page I submit this link from my browser in a post...
www.washingtonpost.com...

And as you see,...now I have to be a subscriber.

Is there a way to circumvent this?

The only way around it is to sign up. Drudge sometimes has Straight links to The WP, but it goes to the Sign-up page after awhile. I would cross-reference washington post with other News sources, they may have quoted from the post, or reprinted the article, such as we do.
