Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a movie? I've read the book, it was awesome, had no idea it was a movie. It'll probably, like most movies, suck compared to the book.

You think its a run of the mill slasher movie until near the end they drop the twist in the tale on you and I promise you, you won't see it coming!
Its a classic.

That was an awesome movie. I also liked the movie "Signs" by M Knight Shamalyn (probably spelled that wrong) It had some good twists in it too.

The original "Hitchhiker " with Rutger Hauer. I couldn't sleep the night I first saw that movie. It was suspenseful and creepy right up until the end.

I thought I posted in here already, guess I didn't.

The one movie that really messed with my head was "The Killing Room."

It's a movie that talks about the MK-Ultra program..It's insane esp when you have read about the program itself. I think that is why it freaked me out even more. Made me wonder if this is the kind of stuff they really do and have done...Freaky!!!!

Another I liked was "The Passengers," that movie gave me chills.

Im more into mental mind screwing movies than gore. I also liked "Afterlife" with Christina Ricci and Liam Neisen....Oh I love him

I just saw Suckerpunch, and it certainly fits this category. Real mind-twister, and such great visuals. The story is a bit unsatisfying, as you don't see the comeuppances you are expecting, and the ending is not at all suspected, but worth it just for the visual spectacle it is.

Insidious is another recent movie to add. One of the scariest flicks to come along in some time too. It's the perfect date horror movie, as your gal is going to cling to you for dear life after the first jump scene. It's slow starting, but once it gets going, there are more jump scenes than you can count, and they also do a good job with the creepy atmosphere (again, once it gets going).

Pandorum is an awesome futuristic sci-fi film with an incredible twist. It's set on a spaceship intended to colonize a nearby planetary system after Earth is destroyed by war/environmental problems.

Great movie, and underrated.

Can't agree more. With David Lynch being my favorite filmmaker I am deeply in love with Mind screwing movies. I think you missed Silence of the Lambs, which is one of my personal favorites.
