Web tool shows French are 'Obsessed With Jews

www.ynetnews.com

An Internet tool that flags up popular search words has spontaneously revealed a deeper trend: French web surfers' exceeding curiosity about whether their politicians are Jewish. Observers say the phenomenon betrays an obsession in a country with a sensitive history of anti-Semitism.

Curious. French intellectuals have had a sordid history with anti-Semitism: the Dreyfus affair, Jean-Paul Sartre's 'the Jewish Question', Benoit Frachon's rant after the Arab defeat in 1967, to the more recent Mohammed al dura scandal.

Is this Google search anecdote indicative of this historic obsession with “Jewry” or is it something else … something more troubling considering Frances recent influx of Muslim immigrants?

Indeed, I wonder if this has anything to do with the growing population of Muslim immigrants from northern Africa.

That was my first guess. The article notes that the emphasis is on Google searches relating to politicians.

Funny, I do the same thing in America. I think one has to question to what country Zionists loyalties lie. You don't want people at the highest levels of your government putting another country first. Common sense.

Just by your thread title, I thought maybe the French were obsessed with JEWPORN.com!

Lol.

What a load of complete and utter zionist ynet propaghanda.
Using google "autocomplete" to out the fact that Dominique Strauss Khan is himself a French Jew and that Sarkozy has Jewish roots himself.

Wow mike, twice in one day? Seems like there are all kinds of people obsessed with Jews.

I would definately say those who studiously post and disseminate Israeli/Zionist propoganda are obsessed with Jews too.

I wonder which came first the chicken or the egg?

I am going to wager on the chicken in this case!

From the article

"The search queries that you see as part of Autocomplete are a reflection of the search activity of all web users," Google France spokeswoman Anne-Gabrielle Dauba-Pantanacce explained in an email to AFP.

and

Jean-Yves Camus, a Jewish political scientist specialising in anti-Semitism, interpreted the Autcomplete effect differently, seeing it as a natural "phenomenon of curiosity" in a country with by far the biggest Jewish community in Europe

As usual with jewish "concerns" this is a wasted and shallow effort at best. Slow news day in France I guess. Yawn.

It's alright, I just think it's an important distinction to make.

One reporter typing the word Jew into google is hardly what i'd call brilliant journalism.

Agreed. Problem is there seems to be more and more of this type of journalism on hand.

I dont blame them, Its obvious zionists influence western politics and media. If anyone hasnt already relised this by now then you need to take your head out the sand.

Its not anti-semetic, Its simply anti-zionist. totally different.
