Are you trying to tell me a man can get an erection when he doesn't want sex, and that then, some evil woman can use that against him? Sorry, I do believe a man can randomly get an erection, but that then a woman then threaten, cajole and make him use it, and that's rape? No, that doesn't make sense.

Please, do not spread misinformation.

Man can get an erection and can have an orgasm during rape, even if he does not want the sex. Just like woman can have an orgasm during rape. Erection and orgasm are primarily controlled by autonomic nervous system. This is basic biology.

Woman can rape man, that is a fact. If it happens less, it is only because men tend to be more physically powerful.

I don't know how you Americans stand all the bible stuff being spouted by so many people. I probably would have blown my head off by now.

Isn't that a form of extremism then or does that apply to Muslims only? I find some of the thoughts, actions and aftermath of what modern Christianity has done to Armericanistan quite shocking.

I just have to interject and say GIVE SOME STATISTICS. In fact, it might be better if you take your thinly-disguised hillbilly attitude and sling your hook. Three/ four times you've said 'many' abortions come from neglect. 'Many'..? Seriously? Without appropriate statistics to back up your 'claim', the most you should have said was "...some abortions occur as the result of neglect".

Dimwitted, ridiculous and obtuse are some words that spring to mind when I read your posts. I'm so glad that people like you are in the minority, and I hope my post doesn't get mod-removed because I want you to know what I think about you and your attitude. Trust me, I'm being as polite as humanly possible.

Sorry to get angry in your thread Lucidity. I double, triple dare 'SevenBeans' to speak in the manner he's posting to any husband of a woman who's suffered the trauma of miscarriage.

Well written!

We are in our 15th week and coming this far I can't even imagine having a miscarriage and on top of that being harassed by the authorities!

We are both 39, so there might be no more tries if this goes wrong.

you have to understand that some people are chauvinistic, man-hating bigots. But because of sexual instinct and paternal instinct their bigotry towards those males(spouse and children) get's shifted to a territorial/property outlook towards those males.

There have been many, many cases of women raping men, well mostly young men(15 to low 20's). Mostly in Africa(SA has the most instances reported), Indonesia and Russia.

I think most males in the west are conditioned sexually to view it as a "good thing" even if they feel something wrong about it(kind of like how the children where sexualitzed in brave New World, but not to that extent), and I would wager a good many are just too embarrassed to come forward. Imagine if every woman who was raped(I mean real rape victims not false rape accusers) had their sexual orientation brought into question(a cultural "are you gay or something?" type effect) and where accused of being lesbians.

Given the high male suicide rate(11.4%), I would wager a good many where driven to suicide because they were raped by a woman and because of the social embarrassment caused by the ignorant thinking of bigots, they bottled it up until it was too much to handle.

Heck look at how the country treats little boy's that didn't even hit their teens years when their raped by their teachers(some call it just statutory rape, but when an adult coerces a child, a f*&^(*g child to have sex that is rape!) .

We have to accept that we live in an oppressive social matriarchy where women by and large view us as a little above an animal at best. And where there are plenty of our brethren willing to back-stab their fellow brothers to appease the matriarchy in the hopes of attaining wealth and power.

Good point. If the uterus police are actual doctors, do they not have to follow HIPPA laws and not discuss the specifics of my medical history.

Has anyone noticed it's almost always the religious nuts who want to force their version of what should be on us? These are usually the ones who shout the loudest about the followers of any other religion being godless heathens. But THEIR version of how things should be are from the one true faith and you damn well better listen. Anyone who tries to tell others what to do based on what they think is right infuriates me, but T&C forbids me to express my opinion of the ones who do it because they are Holier Than Thou. By the way, ain't these the type that are caught with the $20 hookers?

I can assure you that unless they lived very sheltered lives, such kinds of injuries are very much "natural occurrences" for many boys (and tomboyish girls alike). My point is, *something* happens. In both cases, you're presented with a fact for which "natural" explanations can be offered. But there's also the possibility that the cause was of an entirely different nature. Are you going to leave it at that and do nothing? Indifference comes at a price...

[color=deeppink]

If self induced miscarriage carried a higher percentage, which I have yet to see, maybe I could see where you (and that poor excuse for a politician) are coming from.

In the first trimester, embryonic causes of spontaneous abortion are the predominant etiology and account for 80-90% of miscarriages

Genetic abnormalities within the embryo (ie, chromosomal abnormalities) are the most common cause of spontaneous abortion and account for 50-65% of all miscarriages.

Teratogenic and mutagenic factors may play a role, but quantification is difficult.

Source

[color=deeppink]So we can see from the above statistics that the majority of causes are not self induced, which makes the proposal ridiculous.

You cannot punish the many for the actions of the few. The vast majority of women that suffer a miscarriage, didn't want to, they didn't do anything on purpose to cause it. Accusing every woman is justing adding insult to injury.

Yeah, the dangers of "self righteousness". It leads people to think that their "so good" they "deserve" or should be able to get away with a little bad. That's why it is best(lmao, best I suppose is highly subjective) to just try and understand that what is right for one person may or may not be right for another person.

Of course! You think a man wants sex when he's sleeping? Unconscious? You think 2 year old boys want sex when they get erections?

Actually they're obligated to report abuse and I think that knowingly behaving in ways that can cause your unborn brain damage, deformities etc. etc. is a horiffic form of abuse.

Yes, lucidity already informed us to wait for his video involving a goat.....and maybe some whips
. Something is going to come out about this guy.

If he's such a Bible thumper, why is forgetting about John the Baptists parents. According to the Bible they were "very old" when they finally conceived John, there only child, but had been married for many years. I guess then is that Elizabeth suffered many miscarriages and that was that, until God decided to give them John.

That's like saying most people die naturally so don't bother investigating, even if there are signs that the death was caused by abuse or negligence.

I'm from N. Ga. have moved since but is it me or does my home state just churn out political wack jobs at every election...from ole Newt to this crazy SOB... I feel sorry for the true tea party movement because I know you guys had some good ideas and were on the right track and once the republicans seen that their base were fleeing they hijacked your movement and you guys got railroaded and stuck with every extreme right leaning wack job. I'm glad I'm a reformist we are the few the proud most people run for cover when the reformist party start calling out for the termination of the IRS and most government except basic need services were a little hard core for the right and left we understand that our ideas mean real spending cuts terminating government services all the way not cutting spending. I'm tired of proping up government workers who are making 70K a year collecting garbage and 90K a year for teaching 1st graders. Wow this guy..Rock on Barney...Rock on..lol you make it easy for people to see just how crazy our political system is..

I am unable to have kids and it was nothing I did, my body has female issues and I can't sustain a pregnancy. It is very hard for me because I really want kids and I still can by adoption but I would like to have my own.

And?

Many miscarraiges occur because of neglect... it's a simple fact so I'm not sure what you're going on about your personal experience for.

Do you think pregnant women should be free to smoke, cause brain damage etc. etc. to their unborn?
edit on 22-2-2011 by SevenBeans because: (no reason given)

yes i do....the fetus is attached to the females body inside of her, thus it is part of her body. no man or government should have ANY control over that. why is this so hard to understand. maybe you should move to a country that has sharia law, because that's obviously where you would feel the most comfortable.

as far as i'm concerned, anti-abortionists who advocate bombing, hunting down, or killing people are home-grown terrorists and should be treated as such. this type of religion is a cult, and it's about time we started locking these people away.
