Lets see what Obama does?
I wonder if they were killed just to see what he does do.
This fueling stop is just North of and adjacent to Somalia.
Djibouti is a big refueling stop. I have NO idea what will happen in these ports, but perhaps we'll do some local touring. Due north is the Red Sea where we plan to tuck in when winds turn to the north.

While it's too bad they were killed , everyone has known for several years that Somali murdering pirates have been operating up to 500 miles from the coast and huge cargo and oil ships know where the military is at all times for escort , defense or rescue . A little sail boat off the Somali coast ... brain dead and now all dead . Those guys take over tanker ships with crew served heavy machine guns , RPG's and assault rifles so knocking over a sail boat isn't even work . I hope the pirates get blasted out of the water but these people were the authors of their own misfortune and it's Darwin Award time .

Yahoo news is saying that the Navy was shadowing the sailboat and heard the shooting.

I know it's horrible that four people allegedly died, but at what point do we start expecting people to use common sense, and be responsible for their actions? What kind of idiots take a pleasure cruise in these waters?
What.....should we send our troops in there now? This is ridiculous.
Peace
The weapon, developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Directed Energy Directorate, employs a two-wavelength laser system and is a hand-held, single-operator system for troop and perimeter defense. The laser light used in the weapon temporarily impairs aggressors by illuminating or “dazzling” individuals, removing their ability to see the laser source. The first two prototypes of the Personnel Halting and Stimulation Response, or PHaSR, were built here last month and delivered to the laboratory’s Human Effectiveness Directorate at Brooks City Base, Texas, and the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate at Quantico, Va. for testing.
