It took me 10 minutes of staring at the OP's post to finally realize I see more in his post than that UFO video posted earlier.

Pysops experiment indeed!

Good one!

Not even a completely black video with one pinprick of light moving about for a ufo like so many Youtube ones.

Both.

The Secret Commonwealth

And quite a few other phenomena thrown into the mix to boot.

The phenomena aren't objects, and nor do they fly. The perfect mirage perhaps, even when it decides to leave physical traces of itself.

As for being unidentified, it merely changes form, and has done for thousands of years.

Perhaps there is merely a difference of terminology.

Let's just sit tight and await for the phenomenon to manifest into it's most recent trick, those greyish looking bug eyed extravaganza. Neat trick eh.

Jacques Vallee - Dimensions (1995)

One of these researchers, Reverend Kirk, who lived in Scotland in the late seventeenth century, has even left us a list of sixteen concise, precise conclusions about the form of intelligence that controls the phenomenon, and the organization of the entities themselves. He calls that organization the "Secret Commonwealth (1692)."

........

The central question in the analysis of the UFO phenomenon has always been that of the controlling intelligence behind the objects' apparently purposeful behavior. For the time being, let me simply state again that the modern, global belief in flying saucers and their occupants is identical to an earlier belief in the Good People. The entities described as the pilots of the craft are indistinguishable from the elves, sylphs, and lutins of the Middle Ages. Through the observations of unidentified flying objects, we are concerned with an agency our ancestors knew well and regarded with awe: we are prying into the affairs of the Secret Commonwealth.
Can we establish with certainty that the two beliefs are indeed identical? I believe we can.
