Hell, if they pay more taxes because they make more money, why not put everyone on the government payroll and pay them all $1,000,000 a year. That would surely fix all our woes.

I used to deliver for Coca-Cola out of Madison, and the two Ian's Pizza places were on my weekly route.. I knew the managers, they even sometimes would give me free pizza to take back to the warehouse to share with my co-workers.

Ian's pizza has some of the best selection you'll ever see for pizza... Mac & Cheese Pizza, Pasta Alfredo Pizza, Philly Cheesesteak, my personal favorite was Barbecue Chicken Pineapple.

Anyway, I also lived right by the capitol in Madison, and if I ever move back to the US, you can bet I'm moving back to Madison... what a wonderful place. If you check out the videos of the protesting, you'll see a huge group of people just partying in the streets, dancing to "jump around", singing old American hymns, holding hands, etc.. I am not necessarily a proud American (as I am quite ashamed of the general ignorance of the people, and the actions of the government), but I am a damn proud Wisconsinite!

Most do not make 100k but they are far from being "poor". Teacher salary is public knowledge, here is a link, look for yourself. Take notice of the "fringe benefits" some of these teachers are getting.

I have seen some people talking about the reason for the protest and I would like to add something... It has less to do with Unions and more to do with cutting pensions and benefits for all state employees -- NOT just the teachers. The protesting was to show support for our government workers and get people to tell the WI state congressmen not to pass Walkers bill. Check out this Video I like this guys solution to the problem.

They are not even done with their revolution and they are already sending the US foreign aid! I love those Egyptian fellas!

Again, my contribution to ATS has been constant. Yes, I am conservative in my views, what a shock!

But when I see "Egypt protesters, supporting Wisconsin protesters" I see a dichotomy.

It has political undertones that attempt to paint the Wisconsin protesters in the same light as those who wanted to be free from a Mubarak regime.

I didn't start this thread. I'm just bringing some common sense to it.

Geez....it was just a gesture...a pizza for gawd sakes...no undertones...no dichotomy....just a pizza!
