Everything I had read about Tesla claimed he failed at this endeavor, but you show here that he did invent such a system, and you have built one for your own use. Awesome.

I came across a very interesting web site about a year ago and downloaded all of Tesla's patents. I have them saved to my HD. I will provide a link to the site with ALL of the patents on it. Download and SAVE them to your HD they might not be around forever.

Let's use language that represents reality a little better shall we?

Well, some of the replies on this thread would make it appear this has fallen on deaf ears.

I can not believe some one using a computer would have a problem with the production and useage of electricity.

All I could suggest, which might be helpful to these people, is to go into you kitchen and throw out your microwave oven. Next take down all those pesky, mercury filled, light bulbs; and throw them away!

Call someone with a set of hand trucks and have them to come haul out the fidge and freezer. Now to the big stuff; go in and unplug the T V and all those video games. They have got to go.

I have purposely saved the best for last. Remember that call I had you make? I had you make it before having you throw away the cell phone which has, in recent days, taken up residence on the side of your head.

I guess the next step may be the hardest of them all. MOVE !! You must relocate. You can not live with in several hundred yards of any type of power lines. Just being within the range of the electromagnetic fields which they generate is harmful to you and your childern.

I hope these instructions are helpful to you and hope it will aid in increasing your health and longevity.

Opps, I almost forgot . Leave you car setting in the yard and walk to the places you need to go. The cars engine operates with the usage of electricity which it draws with it's battery and generates from it's altenator.

Those links don't back up your opinions with facts, sorry. Those are issues and studies that have been around for some time. There are dangers out there that kill people everyday, and this material speculates but proves nothing. It shows suspicion but no hard data. So you stop science our of fear of a "maybe"? You must live in fear of our world, that would be a bummer for life is too short to worry over ideas like that.

you can always check out the patents when tesla make references to some in his writings.

Reading about his life and death, and I came across something that I think ties into this thread and why Nikola Tesla's work has been kept from the public so much.

Tesla died of heart failure alone in room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel, on 7 January 1943.[104] Despite having sold his AC electricity patents, Tesla died with significant debts. Later that year the US Supreme Court upheld Tesla's patent number 645576 in a ruling that served as the basis for patented radio technology in the United States.

Soon after his death Tesla's safe was opened by his nephew Sava Kosanović. Shortly thereafter Tesla's papers and other property were impounded by the United States' Alien Property Custodian office in Tesla's compound at the Manhattan Warehouse, even though he was a naturalized citizen.

At the time of his death, Tesla had been working on the Teleforce weapon, or 'death ray,' that he had unsuccessfully marketed to the US War Department. It appears that Teleforce was related to his research into ball lightning and plasma, and was conceived as a particle beam weapon. The US government did not find a prototype of the device in the safe.

After the FBI was contacted by the War Department, his papers were declared to be top secret. The personal effects were sequestered on the advice of presidential advisers; J. Edgar Hoover declared the case most secret, because of the nature of Tesla's inventions and patents.[108] One document stated that "[he] is reported to have some 80 trunks in different places containing transcripts and plans having to do with his experiments [...]". Altogether, in Tesla's effects, there were the contents of his safe, two truckloads of papers and apparati from his hotel, another 75 packing crates and trunks in a storage facility, and another 80 large storage trunks in another storage facility. The Navy and several "federal officials" spent two days microfilming some of the stuff at the Office of Alien Properties storage facility in 1943, and that was it, until Oct., 1945

Tesla's family and the Yugoslav embassy struggled with the American authorities to gain these items after his death because of the potential significance of some of his research. Eventually Mr. Kosanović won possession of the materials, which are now housed in the Nikola Tesla Museum.

Again, nice thread OP, thank you for bringing Tesla's name out into the open again, when I went to school I do not remember Tesla's name coming up, but I do remember hearing Edison, I think it's sad that Tesla 's name and his works have been kept from most of the population for the sake of someone's pocketbook.

I beleive that Tesla's Genius far exceeded that of Edison.

That is the great tragedy of Human Beings, just think how much further along we would be if this kind of stuff would stop all together. I'm still hopefull that someday (in my lifetime) that we will truely be able to advance at our own pace and not be held back by politics and money.

You seem to mis-under all this info. Tesla wanted to make FREE power, as in you build a tower in your garden and get free power. The government would not allow this. Your info you have pasted talks about cancers etc caused by DC power that we USE TODAY. Like transformers and relay stations around the country. With tesla power we wouldn't need them. You just proved yourself wrong.

Myth busters did a show on his 'Earth quake " machine. Using a pneumatic cylinder at a sympothetic resonant frequency for steel on a bridge.

They proved it had a potential to work. That means -- they shut it off when it began to vibrate the bridge.
