How do I use the 'link'

hi,

how do i use the link button? Im currently having to use an alternate method that is long winded and a pain in the bum, also my links are coming out purple and therefore indistinct!

Well, If for example you wanted to link back to your OP, Just copy and paste this below exactly:

As a link It shows up like this: (Source)

Btw, where It says (source), you can add whatever you wish and that's what will show up as a link.

there is a button that says 'link' but i cant seem to get that to work for me....

Just clink the link button. A box will appear, where you can title the link whatever you wish to, click OK and a second box will appear where you can copy and paste the desired URL into. This creates a link.

Well, this is all you would need to remember tbh: [url=(Your link goes here)](Your personal text goes here)[/url]

It just looked like a lot to remember because of the link I used.

And on the posting screen, all you need to hit is "link" to bring up the bb code for links.

Can't you just use the link at the top that says "link"?

You first type what you want it to say, click ok and then it asks for the URL and you can just copy and paste it.

thanks Heff talked me through it on this thread it was the link button that I was trying and failing to use.
