not to burst your bubble but there are laws that prevent normal US citezens from owning weapons above .50 cal...
you can buy bigger but then you get that whole tax stamp hassle..

so you know there is one a bit better than the 50 BMG round and that is the little known 505 Gibbs
Here's is my notes from that rifles brother.

NEI cast bullet, 600 gr. Fed 215 primer, 50.0 grs 5744, at 1450 fps
NEI cast bullet, 600 gr, Fed 215 primer, 55.0 grs 5744, at 1540 fps
NEI cast bullet, 600 gr, Fed 215 primer, 55.0 grs 5744, at 1675 fps
I have groups just over an inch with this bullet at 50 yards.

nah, the .950 JDJ got an ATF exemption from the "destructive device" category. If you had enough $$, and were so inclined, you could get one. you'd probably need to have a chiropractor on call though.

there are plenty of folks out there with .58 caliber muzzleloaders.

the .505 gibbs is awesome! Gibbs is an underrated company that is up-in-coming. i wish they were publicly traded.
