I hope you guys are wrong but one very good indicator of trouble is what level of security is being observed by local military bases. Do you live near one of these? Drive by and take a look. If the poopie were about to be dropped in the blender you'd see some kind of extra activity; unusual stuff.

Listen to me Expat888, you had 4 tours as special forces or Spook or as another said you were a driver or something connected to the rear...its cool I read a lot of books and bought a boat and landed my self into the Army National Guard...once did we watch a football game but only because one of our own was the cable guy. In come the Rangers and we are doing friday night till sunday night working hard. then it went to every weekend. Notice to deploy to Saudi...I was 38yrs old,had the career....I was a ledgend only in my company. I excepted the mission, Orders, knew my men and executed said mission. Before God and a court I had no secrets. I kept my mission statment and general orders and brought back my men to their moms who face to face said bring my boy back.....I did it...no awards please I just did it.

If you have a problem with your service or your conscience not my problem. Not the problem of the U.S.Army. Not the problem of the MEN I had the privilage to serve with. We did our duty with honors. I and the men we served with are proud to say we are the Army of One...if You are not ,,,you implicate your own self to the hourors that you at tour #4 could have prevented....you will not on my watch pass the blame or your missfortune to my soldiers....yeah END OF DISCUSION

your wording is vague and doesn't really make much sense at all... could be the education system at work. no matter the case, i do believe you are trash talking some of the hardest working americans there are which is unwise to say the least. sure you make think its all fun and games when people go out and risk their lives to earn the trust of a foreign nation that wants assistance. we have a blast over here, and i do mean literally. ive known to many that went out and died trying to protect someone elses right to go to school safely... i don't even want to finish this post. you disgust me.

I haven't really seen anything too odd off the gulf recently, I went to Galveston yesterday and the fog was so thick you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you. That has to be the only oddity down there though.

I thought homeland security did away with the color code.

I wish everyone would understand that this Country (USA), has been under martial law and a state of "preparedness" since Abraham Lincoln.

The military is just training. When you see them moving around, like you have been, they are merely practicing there movements!

Remember, America is at war! Iraq? Afghanistan! Recall those? Just because you haven't made a single fricken sacrafice does mean we are still at war! Support it or not!

Stop with the paranoia folks. This entire topic has been debunked. Do you also realize there are MANY training bases in the gulf states area? Gulf Port MS, Shepphard AFB TX, Just off the top of my head?

Really bro, if you actually read what I wrote it was clearly stated that this was second hand knowledge and I wasn't there. Lying, sure. I had nothing better to do at that moment than to make up some concocted story about A-10's escorting E4-B's. Next time i'll try something like using an alien in my story to make it more believable. "I'm not you "Bro", well lets all be thankful for that, Bro. And yes if I passed it along from a friend of mine, then yes I put faith in my friends. And I have seen stranger things in my years than an A-10 escorting a said E4-B, whether its true or not. Either way, I don't care if the E4-B was escorted or not by an A-10. If you used your tiny brain, read the post again, you would see that the main point was the sighting of the E4-B and not who it was escorted by or if it was escorted at all. Any one coming on here requesting to be addressed as Sir is 99.9% an E-3 or below. Good luck with that in the future, Buddy!

Just a thought about that plane so I'm putting it out here. We were supposed to have a pretty big solar flare thing going the last couple of days. Might they have had that plane with it's "hardened" communications capabilities up and running as a security measure just in case the flares messed up our regular system??

As far as the Gulf thing, its old and speculative misinformation.

Sorry I'm late getting to this thread. Early on you mention "earthquake lights". What do you mean by that?

When I lived ion a seismically active zone, before an earthquake I would see ripples of energy running along the earth, like aurora lights, but running along the surface of the earth. I'm in TN now, and lately (last 6 wks) I've been seeing them here. Too weird.

Is this something similar, or is it something else?
