Iraqis protest in Kurdish region, capital

(Reuters) - Hundreds of people rallied for political reforms in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region on Saturday while demonstrators in Baghdad protested demanding better rights for widows and orphans.

The wave of revolution looks like it may have just arrived in Kurdistan.

Right now they are demanding the local government be removed after two people were killed in Thursday protests.

This is a story to keep an eye on. The Kurds may end up demanding autonomy from the Iraqi government. If that happens, we may see Turkey, a member of NATO, try to suppress the Kurds of Iraq.
