I'm pleased we can find common ground.

Now if we can work from there, I think that eventually we could find a productive hybrid of ideas that would be mutually acceptable and beneficial.

Just what we need....MORE POLITICIANS, I'm sure that will solve things. I see that causing more paralysis than anything else.

What we really need is Term limits and equal spending on elections. It's money that keeps incumbents in power. If challengers and incumbents had equal resources, the results would be far different. I do kinda like the idea of 12 year term limit, either 2 Senate or 6 House Terms, maybe even fewer House terms. I don't think we would be in worse shape with term limits. As least we would have to see "insert your least favorite Dem/Rep" face for most of your adult life. The Senior Senator from my State Sen. Carl Levin has been in office since 1979!
