Yep, most domestic and wild fowl can be infected with Marek's disease. Here's a link about the disease in chickens.

Well just seems to be happening over on your side and not in my own country. So I'm not too worried.

Good Luck and may god be with you when the apocalypse comes.

It's probably a good thing,though. Now that it's happening to other species,too, maybe they'll do a little more research on what could possibly causing it.

The recent sun flare? Some having only their equalibrium affected ( slight scramble ) while the dead had their brains scrambled entirely. Kill the message from the brain to the heart? Instant death right?.

Mericks doesnt effect water fowl like it does poultry.I breed geese as a hobby,they are also good lawn mowers.
What bothers me more so is that geese are a very 'hardy' creature as far as birds go,sounds like poisoning.Distressing either way - add it to the list.
