Remember that the Muslim world has it's own crazies who believe end times stories. Like the return of the 12 Imam. People like Ahmedinejad pray publicly to hasted the return of the Mahdi(12 Imam) and they actively seek to create the chaos it takes to hasten the end times.

Like the Hutarees who thought they could bring about the return of Christ through causing death...Their plan didn't have an entire army or the establishment of a nuclear weapons program, however.

There's a lot of Jews in media, sure. But are all companies that put out polling data owned and operated strictly by Jews? If your answer to this is yes, could you please post some unbiased data as I have attempted to do?

Six Jewish Companies Own 96% of the World’s Media

www.ety.com...

There is no doubt that the Jews have a much bigger influence in world media than their population suggests..

With the Jews in expectation of the Messiah for the first time, the Muslims in expectation of he 12 Imam and the Christians awaiting the return of Jesus, the area is quite volatile. Everyone is looking for Superman to come and or return to solve all their problems.

That site is an anti-Semetic Jew hating Ahmedinejad apologizing source that denies Jews were even gassed.

No thanks.

Good job American leadership! It is good time to finally get some balls and support your allies in the region. I am very surprised at this personally and can do nothing short of celebrating an act of honor by the US government.

Well, good.

Israel won the land fair and square only after telling Jordan in 1967 that if Jordan didn't attack, Israel would leave them alone.

Jordan believed the BS Egyptian President Nassar told them, and not wanting to miss out of the Israeli Final Solution, attacked.

Jordan lost the land, and now it belongs to Israel. So why shouldn't they be able to build on it?

Everyone lives on land that belonged to another people at some point in the past, and your current borders were determined at some point in the past by warfare.

Nothing new here.

No. I just searched jewish media ownership and that was merely one site..
I would not deny Jews were singled out..
I would also not deny they control the media..

Oh I see..When the numbers don't stack up, blame the Jews...

Slippery slope.

That line no longer holds as more humans are aware of what the heck is going on. TO LOOK for blame, we best go back to history.

Money lending had been the root of problems in our world. And unfortunately, a minority of the jews were adapt with money lending which led to our banking systems such as of todays. The Fed Reserve is one of such systems. And today the wool had been pulling right out of our eyes over its henious attempts to control the country won by the blood, sweat and toil of founding fathers.

Much of ancient past's wealth was in gold, and the jews were trusted to look after such wealth. It was not their money but others. And they used others wealth to fund their own wealth by lending at interest.

With such interests that they earned, they also foreclosed the lendee's pledges such as property collaterals, usually bought at low fire sale prices. In the end, they own huge properties, more than any king on Earth, and collected rents on it, or when the property appreciates over time, sold at high prices.

They lend to nations at war, on both sides. Whomever loses or won, still had to pay back those loans as they were commercial contracts even though only banking scams. Either in cash or collaterals seized. The money lenders had never used their own money throughout the transactions. It had been others funds entrusted to them. This is the banking scam.

With such ancient wealth, they dominated dictatorships, parliaments and congress of the world, buying ad selling favours for laws bent to their liking. Religion has nothing to do with it, only the lust for wealth. Religion was but a tool to fool the masses and hide behind it to be protected. Thus the rise of Zionism

The nation of Israel was created, out of sympathy for the plight of the innocent jews. But the zionists only use nationalism to fool others and protect their own wealth, just as they and their created and beholdened corporations had controlled US congress and made free american legislators bow to their demands.

Today, we claimed outrage that the peaceful holy book of Koran had been hijacked by radicals hiding behind religion and nationalism to wreck havoc upon the world. But unseen and unknowledged, either by ignorance or willfully, so too had the jewish religion and nationalism been hijacked by the zionist hell bent on world domination and creation of mankind as slave species.

Look around you and see the foreclosures of homes around you. Who are the biggest landowners in the world today? Who has the most wealth and how did they get it besides dictatorships? And whose money had funded their purchases if not bank depositors out for 5% annual returns, or middle classed fools duped into the wall street casinos duped by the money lenders, and sustained by the bailouts from the masses to keep the bank deposits balanced to prevent bank runs, instead of using bailouts to revive the manufacturing economies?

AT least do know who are your realenemies before you start hurting and harming your fellow human brothers and sisters. There are those who claimed to be jews but are not jews.

Ugh...these threads always derail way too fast. 2 or 3 good debating posts then BAM! it starts with the "Jew hater" and "Jew lover" stuff. I always miss the important part of the debate so I can get a word in before the hate-spewing starts.

Anyway, I have noticed several times referenced here that the UN is comprised mostly of dictators, and should not be taken seriously. However, in the OP, the article references a Security Council vote. The Security Council is made up of 15 countries, 5 of which (US, China, Russia, France, and the UK) are permanent members. The other 10 (Bosnia, Brazil, Colombia, Gabon, Germany, India, Lebanon, Nigeria, Portugal, South Africa) cycle every few years. Now, I'm pretty sure that there are no legitimate dictators in US, China, Russia, France, or UK. Nor is there one in Germany, Brazil, Bosnia, India, South Africa, and Portugal. I'm not familiar with the other nations. So that is at least 11 votes from non-dictatorship countries out of 15 that voted in favor of the veto, and probably more like 14 as I doubt a truly recognized dictator would be allowed into the Security Council. However, I digress, and will stick with 11. 11 votes out of 15 from well recognized world powers seems pretty legitimate, and unanimous, that there is a seriously problem with Israel.

Should the US protect its' ally? Yes, if they are unnecessarily attacked by another nation. Should they veto a legitimate resolution that simply condemns the actions of a nation who has overstepped their bounds? Absolutely not, it is not the American way, regardless of who the offender is, we as a nation must stand tall against tyranny and oppression. This is not about supporting an ally in the time of need. This issue is about keeping true to international policies that were set in place to keep peace around the world. The US is not abiding by those policies that it helped put in place. It is a travesty that we continue, as a nation, to openly support the behavior of a government overstepping its bounds.

Distgusting

How long can this go on for its unbelievable other country's must be sick to pieces of america veto in favour of the aggressor ISRAEL and yes they are ILLEGAL

Quote from the washing times

'' SUSAN RICE'' "Unfortunately, this draft resolution risks hardening the positions of both sides and could encourage the parties to stay out of negotiations."

Hardening on both sides?? what a joke if israel stopped building illegal settlements the peace talk will get somewhere .

Shame on the US goverment !!

Here, how about some facts from a source that doesn't deny the Holocaust happened or uses a 12er like Ahmedinejad as a source for their opinions:

Do Jews Really Control the Media? (Slate.com)

CNN anchor Rick Sanchez was fired last week for calling The Daily Show host Jon Stewart a bigot and implying that Jews control the media. ("Everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart," he said, trying to explain that Jews are not an oppressed minority.) Setting aside the propriety of Sanchez's claims, is he right? Do Jews control the media?

You are right..
Even Britain voted in favour..
It was 14-1 with a BS veto vote from the US biatch..

Britain, which voted in favour of the resolution, called on Israel and the Palestinians to resume talks because of the gravity of the stalemate between the two sides.

What power does Israel have over the US??
It must be extreme..

I used to see it from that angle, as a matter of fact.

Then I began to see it from the angle of there being Jews on one tiny piece of land surrounded by Muslims who are bent on bringing a caliphate that may be ruled over by the 12th Imam . Being a Christian(and not a very good one) I find that a rather interesting angle considering recent events and Iran's leadership being 12ers and all.

You were sounding really eloquent at first, but now it's pretty clear that you're breaking into Glenn Beck arguments. At least be honest, is that and Jihadwatch where you are getting your information from regarding this? Especially the whole "caliphate" stemming from the protests in Egypt?

I'm not going to blame Isreal entirely though. They are, as you say, surrounded by many Muslim nations (some quite agressive and lead by complete asshats), but that still does not give them a free pass for what they do, which you have already acknowledged. However, caliphate or no caliphate, reason for murder or not, killing someone for the # of it is the same as killing someone in the name of god, in my opinion. It's still murder, and thus boogieman scaretactics which have jumped into action from the starting point of the Egypt revolution don't hide the fact that the Paleistine problems (which I want to keep seperate from the big Middle East picture for now) are, for the most part, the faults of Israel, with the Flotilla Incident as a recent example.

And again referring to the UN as socialist is just another use for that god-awful buzzword that's been thrown around the mainstream media so much nowadays to, as said in the Quran, "strike fear into the hearts of the disbelievers"

Maybe it isn't the tiny little nation that has power over the US. Maybe we have a vested interest in protecting Israel as a Judeo Christian nation..

Dunno... I think I've made more than a satisfactory factual presentation as to why the US supports Israel.

It is what it is. And I, personally, support it.

I read many sources and have actually done my homework:

And then there's this post from another thread:

Yeah...I didn't do any research or anything.
