I suppose this is just more evidence of collusion between our government and corporations. I've looked to see if this was reported elsewhere but it was not. I saw this meeting was reported as scheduled on AP and NPR, but that was it. I'm curious as to who else was there.

Any ideas of what ideas were brought up?

Yes, categorise under 'Indicative'.

That is, indicative of government and corporations merged. As if it was not obvious enough with those giant handouts to banks and car companies.

So what is the function of politicians today? Who do they really serve?

If being one with the corporations helps the national economy then why not nationalize the corporations?

Wouldn't that make the whole process more efficient? Just a thought. And yes, I am being the devil's advocate here (having just posted on a different thread nation states are fundamentally part of the reason for the global financial crises).
