I live in southern Arkansas. We have a couple of strong vines, kudzu I am not sure about. Whisteria is a nuisanse and you can hardly kill it once it gets started growing into a tree. I know Whisteria can produce some strong vines.

Maybe one day I will try to make my own vine bridge. But why stop there? I'd love to make my own tree village.

Does anyone know if Kudzu would be strong enough? I don't really know much about Kudzu. I am more familiar with wisteria. Wisteria also make pretty bunches of flowers that look like grapes hanging down.

Butterflies and bees love it! I know Carpenter bumble bees love the stuff, because I used to catch carpenter bees to scare people. You can catch a white headed carpenter bee, it can't sting you but can try to pinch you with it's pincers, but it doesn't hurt. If you catch a black headed carpenter bee, it can sting you.

The only problem with making a tree village I think, is that I think the vine can eventually kill the tree.

Oh well, if the grid ever goes down and I have to go back to nature, I am going to build a tree village!
