The official tie-in iPhone app for this year's mind-melting Christopher Nolan flick, Inception, is every bit as surprising and non-traditional as the movie. Where other apps provide listless minigames, boring photo galleries and jargon-filled text, this one provides something of an experience.

The app uses just about every sensor and gizmo inside your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to merge life around you into the game's distorted reality, much in the same way that your dreams feature twisted versions of real life memories.

does anyone have this. it sounds pretty wierd to me

Haha, so, this is basically:
You live in your own movie. You are still: calming music plays. You move, run, work out,etc. while using that app. You get some "action" music. Pretty awesome

Well I finally got this app...

it was free... you gotta use the earbuds that come with your phone... cos it requires a mic... but since that comes with any iphone... you dont need to purchase anything...

I must say i havent fully tested this out yet... doubt it can cos any dreams... but it does make for an interesting experience... It kinda like being strung out on something really good... without the negative effects...

I love this thing and when I get myself that defender case... i'm gonna try sleeping with this thing on... but not until i get that case... don't wanna break my phone during the night...

I loved the movie... and I love this app... its pretty damned amazing if you ask me... but then again i'm sometiems easily amused...

As i typed this i have it on in the "Still Dream" mode and the clicking of the keys as I type sound like the rattlings of "bone" its kinda trippy and nice

I have an iPhone and I am so downloading this today.

I will use it tonight to sleep with. I am a pro at sleeping with my phone next to me and not breaking it lol

Sounds like it could be fun and I like free apps.

Do they have one for the droid? I have one of those too.

you don't know how glad I am that you posted this thread!

I sit with this app on during 90% of my free time...
I also if not being watched... make funny noises so that I can hear it distort/warp them...

to a onlooker I prolly sound and look crazy... haha

Also I don't know if its the actual app... it does have music and etc... its like a soundtrack too... forgot to mention that... so it could just be the music... but i'm ADD... and this while having this thing on I have a slightly improved concentration... or at least I have tricked myself into thinking that? haha
