A psychic vampire is a person[1] or being[2] who claims to feed off the "life force" of other living creatures.[1] Psychic vampires are represented in the occult beliefs of various cultures and in fiction.[3] There is no medical recognition or scientific consensus supporting this phenomenon.
A 2007 scholarly survey carried out upon people claiming to be vampires, either psychic or sanguinarian (blood drinkers) that showed anecdotal evidence of a higher than normal incidences of certain illnesses and conditions such as anemia, fibromyalgia, and hemophilia. Whether or not they actually suffer from such conditions was not evaluated by medical professionals.[4]"

Thank you, I'm glad to finally have the courage to posted this.
edit on 18/2/2011 by PinkAndBlack because: (no reason given)
Discordianism is a "Ha Ha, Only Serious" 'joke',[1] using humor to subversively spread what its members regard as a valid philosophy. To keep said beliefs from becoming dangerous fanaticism, they rely on self-subverting Dada-Zen humor, with varying degrees of success. There is some division as to whether it should be regarded as a parody religion, and if so to what degree.[2]

Does feeding on other human emotions makes me a Vampire?
If so then I am sometimes a Psychic Vampire. I tend to get on people's nerves just to see how they become desperate, irritated and aggressive. And I gain pleasure by doing it.

I believe she means the sub-culture of people who derive a sort of emotional or psychic sustenance off of the consumption of blood or spiritual energy. It has been an active sub-culture for 20 years or more.

Vampires suck
Fnord is the typographic representation of disinformation or irrelevant information intending to misdirect, with the implication of a worldwide conspiracy. The word was coined as a nonsensical term with religious undertones in the Discordian religious text Principia Discordia (1965) by Kerry Thornley and Greg Hill, but was popularized by The Illuminatus! Trilogy (1975) of satirical conspiracy fiction novels by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson.
