COMA'S becoming contagious in the middle east?

Former prime minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, Former Tunisian President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali and FORMER Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak have all slipped into COMA'S, Whats going on here?
Is it the pressure of years of political corruption taking it's toll or something more sinister??
Not that this bothers me in the least, I just find it quite bizarre, any idea's?

It sounds to me a bit like in Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy where that rockstar is dead for a while "for income tax purposes".
