Cellular Network Down

Hi everyone.

I'd like to report that the cellular network Bell/Aliant is down here in eastern Canada. I'm wondering if this is an effect from the X2 solar flare or not? My sister and I both have no service on 2 different GSM phones with Bell/Aliant, an iphone 4 and a Samsung Gravity.

Is anyone experiencing difficulties with their cell phone? If so please post your provider and your phone model.

i'm in montana close to canadian border sort of and i've had no problems here

Anyone else? My mom has an older CDMA phone that is working, but the GSM phones have no service.

I'm getting a strong signal here in Southwestern Ontario, in the basement no less. ( on Fido gsm, LG cheapo phone)

lol my wife and I were just talking about this, she's a manager with bell in eastern canada and she said they had people in all day complaining about their phones not working. Bell of course never gives out any reasons for their service interruption, but if I hear anything more I'll post the info. I'm sure it's just a network thing but normally bell is pretty reliable.

im sure there was nothing sinister going on, probably just routine service
