I will use your own words to bring this back on topic and still make this divergence relevant:
The world is about to ignite yet the people of the most influential country in the world are nowhere to be seen and are suspiciously absent! "Americans, where are you!?"

The answer is that the Obama administration believes that our "foreign policy" should be NO policy. Obama has made it a point to court our enemies and ignore our allies in a naive belief that a world indifferent to us will leave him free to re-cast our economy to favor his agenda.

Key to this agenda are 1) maintenance of power and control, and 2) redistribution of wealth.

He can accomplish both through subversion of the separation of powers and the protection of our Constitutional "checks and balances." He does this through his appointed, non-confirmed "Czars" with virtually unlimited regulatory power.

One result is the imposition of an energy tax through the internal task force described in the OP, which slips in unnoticed and without debate.

While Energy Sec. Chu would prefer a 'carbon-less" economy, the administration will never move in that direction.

The Obama administration will preserve and tax carbon-intense power and production while mouthing alternatives.

They cannot survive without taking tax revenues, unnoticed, from the carbon economy.

OK let's compare the pan globalist theory of a world wide awakening, vs the Biblical prophetic theory of a worldwide seduction. The Bible says the whole world will welcome a dictator god-man, the antichrist, to solve their problems. I predict the latter is the logical outcome of this. Indeed the muslim religion has been designed to accept the mahdi, a ruthless warlord for Islam who will rule the world.

Let's see who is right. The wishful thinking of men or the God of the Bible. I know where I'm placing my bets.

Now that Obama has pretty well divorced himself from our allies, and adopted a passive attitude toward those who despise us, who will step-up to fulfill your prediction?

The Bible says the whole world will welcome a dictator god-man, the antichrist, to solve their problems.

Biblical authors lived in a much smaller world in which a single person, like Claudius or Nero, could spread his armies across the "known world" and assert a semblance of peace and prosperity to the mollified masses. Even then there were large populations (see: China and the Americas) that never came under the "dictator god-man's" influence.

I predict the latter is the logical outcome of this. Indeed the muslim religion has been designed to accept the mahdi, a ruthless warlord for Islam who will rule the world.

I believe the Bible serves as a guidepost for common sense and benevolence in a world fraught with corruption and greed. It doesn't predict a single man as a solution to our problems, but a single mind-set that sees government authority as a solution. The people need to take back responsibility for their well-being and USE government as a tool for that purpose.

A government that lies to its people and robs them behind their backs is not sustainable. The protests we see evolving are only the beginning. The cost of government no longer matches the "benefits" it claims to deliver.

Let's see who is right. The wishful thinking of men or the God of the Bible. I know where I'm placing my bets.

I guess its not all Obamas fault, but the hypocracy is telling. I thought it was a bit awkward the whole cows emit greenhouse gases thing seemed to tie in with michelle's diet regulation thing Im not the sharpest tool in the shed, but wasn't the government largely responsible for subisidizing farms and monopolizing them creating these huge conglomerate farms?

And they then do what export produce to other countries. Wich seems ok for the sake of making a profit. But when you start making these taxes like we are the irresponsible consumer. I was just seeing news about BO flying his personal trainer to DC on a weekly basis, when that beef carbon thing popped into my head. What about all the other grain and produce that is manufactured and shipped to other countries? Why can I buy garlic produced in China so cheap are they taxing those companies to ship that over here and sell it?

Whats his main concern? A high speed rail from NYC to DC... Whos going to really benefit from that? Politicians IMO.
I was going to weave in here my HG Wells esqe idea of implementing nuclear cargo trains to get some of the transport trucks off the highways. But I suppose they would be controlled by the government, and they would work only for the conglomerate farming industries. A high speed rail for office workers who deserve a slap back to reality?

A nuclear train 5 times the size of todays trains blazing a path across the entire country would earn him a more worthy praise.

Dont tax us to continue supporting foriegn countries.

You know, none of those things (cows, trains, et c) are what really matter to BHO and his cabal to transform the US into a nation of dependent supplicants. Even if it requires funding drug cartels and arming them; if that is what it takes, then DHS and the Dept. of State are ready to comply.

I think this was the same guy who said we should paint all our roofs white to reflect the sun....which works splendidly in Mediterranean countries but I'm sure it does nothing to stop global warming.
