That looked like a big spike, I haven't been watching long enough to estimate scale, but I would say a high 3...

Not too too big thank goodness!
BTW, can you see my post? I have a conspiracy theory that my posts are invisible.
Ok been hanging at ATS too long....

Just had a decent sized quake. Looks to be close to a 3.0

ETA: Once again, it is several quakes in a row. Susan, Kathy....I hope you manage to sleep through these. You guys deserve to get at least one night of sleep!

Nasty business, that. The Water Manadement Report I've referenced a couple of times tells us that they put some of the frac fluid into the civil water supplies. It was published in July of 2010, so it's been known about for a while. The report also states that some of the frac fluids end up in streams, lakes, or other surface bodies of water.

Quite disgusting how open they are with it and the fact that the media doesn't even do any basic research also displays either lack of work ethic or lack of will to stand up to being told what to filter out and what to include.

They really do openly put fracking fluids in PA rivers. It is no secret. For real... Known fact... And it is not just "some of the fluids". It is every fluid that is not reused. Injections aren't done in PA. The fluid is treated but not everything is removed. Hey as long as not every ingredient is tested for in our drinking water, it doesn't happen right?
Radon happened to be one of those ingredients until recently. That is why I am warning everyone here. If injections end, you too will be getting a mild "taste" of Hiroshima in your mouths.

When you google search the news about the injection wells and the Emergency Meeting, you find many media outlets running the story, but it's exactly the same story. They're just repeating the AP story. I'm truly disappointed in the media. Well, there's nothing news in that. I'm just deluding myself because I want to believe in journalism. Jounalism in the main stream media may be dead. You may only find true journalism here, on a place like this thread on ATS.

In the main steam media, there's no investigation, no real balance. Newspapers are dead. The networks have no clue what's going to happen next in the evolution of journalism. They're all scrambling to try and be on the cutting edge. We are the cutting edge. Kathy, Susan and the others that share their accounts are the news of the day. They are the story. Puterman, Westcoast, TrueAmerican and all the new recruits to the Quake Geek Squad, are the new balance. Sure, we're used to having the official geologists speak with absolute authority, but that's changed. There is a second opinion to consider. The geologist today, are not the only ones with access to the data, and no more to they have exclusive access to research and the studies. Now, we all can research and analysis the data. Sure, we aren't geologists. But we are thinking people that can learn. The Quake Geek Squad is the new vanguard.

We'll leaving the main stream media to chase after the bird story, and nothing else. They came and missed the real story. This journalist didn't. We'll leave the media to chase after Charlie and Lyndsy. We'll be here watching the webicorders. We'll let the main stream echo the official line and nothing else. We'll do the investigations and give the editorial. We'll let the media and it's pundits become unbalanced and polarized. We'll try to be open on all sides.
We are the source.
We are the journalists.

WE ARE THE NEW MEDIA !

I hit a point of exhaustion last night and took something to help me sleep and I did get awakened, but I laid in bed and went back to sleep. I do plan on attending the meeting today in Little Rock. Kathy would you like to come down to Vilonia and go with me to the meeting?
