??AVATAR CONTEST???????

since there are so many awesome avatars on ATS mine included , what are the chances of the site owners or a few of the supermods holding a avatar contest ?





we could submit old and new avatars for the contest..

as for the prizes ...

it could be anything from ats points to a new title like ats artist or something like that...
what do you my fellow ats members and staff think?

I've picked out 4 avatars I really like and there was a contest it would be a tough one to decide. Wish I had one but don't know how to get one up and running.

I love it - and apparently, quite a few others do as well, judging by the U2U's I've had

Sometimes those avatars are so good I get distracted from the article I'm reading. Some are catchy.

Sure.....if I can just figure out how to get my avatar to fit the allowed pixel space so it is complete and symmetrical.

the problem with Avatar contests is that almost everyone who has one, thinks theirs is the best ... its like that pirates of the Caribbean movie where they have to vote for a new leader, and can't get it right because they always vote for themselves.

Yeah I'd be in for this, might even design a new one

I remember your penguin, ot was pretty 'streets ahead' (who can get that sitcom reference???)

But really everyone, I could just use mine to go back in time and load the winner as my avatar and win the contect anyway

i enjoy playing with photoshop....when the mood strikes me.

but, like Heff said...i have a background image, not an avatar.

the one i am using now i made. i have several more in a thread somewhere around here.

This is my favorite one that i made, though. The hatband started as a wallpaper i made myself (with the alien head), and i eventually used it as a hat band instead:
