The only thing that bothers me about any of this is the fact it also makes people feel guilty for even being here.

Because these people are very specific ,
You have those who debunk 911 Only 911 nothing else .
You have those who are here to spread anti muslim rhetoric nothing else
You have those backing war nothing else .

Theyre here for certain fields only , ask them something more general and they fall apart .

A person with an open mind and no agenda is always able to diversify and look at a broader spectrum of issues .

Do your friends that do not believe in conspiracy theories come on sites like this ? No why would they waste their time they are sheep living the dream .

If all you do on here is debunk i have the right to be suspicious of your motives .

Does this make me a disinfo agent, or maybe I am analysing the facts and trying to reach a rationale conclusion?

Perhaps the true disinfo agents are the ones creating threads about fantasy theories, without backing it up with no evidence?

If I was a dis-info agent, I would start a thread stating that there were dis-info agents on ATS.
I would then tell my dis-info co-workers to join my thread. My co-workers would join the conversation on that thread, and claim how easy it is to spot dis-info agents. They would explain to people how to spot dis-info agents. They would state that many dis-info agents are transparent and obvious. Its a good alibi.

This thread itself is a dis-info agent. There is absolutely no useful information in this thread. I just read all of it, instead of reading something else that might have been interesting.

All the National Security Agency does is run cryto-logic software, that just picks up certain words, like bomb, guns, revolution, Bush, Chaney, revolt, assasination, nuclear, weapons, etc. It is really just about the samething Cliff High does with webbots. I think Cliff and George are better at what they do because they can predict a false flag before it happens. So with all the Buzz words I have in this post they might check it out. NSA if you check this out, you could learn what is really going on in the world if you read all of Abovetopsecret.

So if you're a dis-information agent you must be privy to all the real info right? How much does it pay again?

i would be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water on this one. Now i will be the first to say that the crap that gets thrown around this forum would make an insane asylum blush with pride. but as such it is also a great place to actually unload real info. unfortunately i think this site as it exists now is not the same as what it started out being. now its all about advertising and sensationalism. they sold out like every all before them. im not surprised in the least or shocked. humans are weak for the most part and every body wants to be comfortable.

So do i think there are paid disinfo agents on here NO. i think they do the job for free because all they are doing is maintaining the status quo. these people dont work for the government at least i dont think they are in the employ of the government just to sit on here and disprove your theories on the yeti or lockness monster. they do it because they can only handle a certain amount of reality. this is what it all boils down to.

BELIEF!!

So few people understand the raw power of belief. and the control of that belief brings with it untold power to shape reality. when you believe something you make it real. do you understand the implications of that??

the more people that believe the more real it becomes. that fracture we see in society is a result of too many beliefs. reality is subjective to the observer so as long as you know your reality nobody can effect it.

unfortunately you will be isolated unless you join with similar people of your beliefs. and at the end of the day isnt that what this is all about.

here in the UK undercover police officers have been infiltrating protest and environmental groups for a long time....as hippies in the '60's, as new agers and clowns (on long term assignments) in environmental protest groups...some of these have caused a lot of media attention recently, there's bound to be plenty more in all sorts of places and I wouldn't bet on places like ATS being ignored!

undercover officer-environmentalist

undercover officer-clown

Agreed 1000%

I really don't see the point in the gov paying people to post in a forum where most think its just crazies here anyways. But then I think of how our gov likes to waste money. . . I still don't think they would, why even bother.

The truth on a issue can often be stated simply and succinctly and if understood by others appears
as if it is a clear pond of understanding and insight.

This however does require critical thinking and use of comparative information to arrive at an agreement
with any specific understanding of a issue.

However, if others put a stick into this clear pond of understanding and muddied its clarity and add doubt and falsehoods, and sometimes just plain stupidity, some then will be lost in confusion, or they will ignore the original truth altogether, because they did not have a true understanding of the issue in the first place.

So wait, someone who doesn't believe in 9/11 being the US government's handiwork (as I do not) or saying the war on terror and getting Saddam Hussein out was a good thing to free the suppressed of Iraq (as I do) are disinfo?

What if they have those beliefs and evidence to support them, find out about a site like ATS and decide to put forth their argument on their specialist subject to counter the (sometimes ridiculous) claims of 9/11 Truthers, NWO theorists etc?

Just because they disbelieve and have evidence to back them up in the face of evidence that backs up the other side of the argument, should they not be allowed an interest in the subject?

I don't believe anything about God, Jesus, whatever man made religion teaches yet I'm still extremely interested in the subject much the same as I was always fascinated with Greek myths since being taught them at school. Should I not be allowed to take that interest or post in religious topics anywhere on the internet because of the accusation of being a disinfo agent?

Personally, the very term itself screams of conspiracy theorist who has nothing else in the face of someone from the other side of the coin and so goes to the lowest common thing any human does in such a situation. Jumps up and down throwing accusations around and insults for not buying into their belief.

People are here solely because the subject of UFOs interest them yet they find no evidence to support their existence as anything non-terrestrial so they come to ATS and put their arguments forward. That helps those of us who believe in them to see another angle and be able to learn what might be a hoax and what might be genuinely unknown in origin.

If everybody believed and sat with their blinkers on screaming "this is true, you're disinfo", this site would be really boring and there'd be no real debate, discussion or analysis going on.

I'd really hate to see people like you doing jury duty in the case of a wrongfully accused man, he'd get the guilty sentence and the death penalty while you scream "disinfo!" at his defense laywer.

I agree with you 100 percent there friend. I'm in The United States, and last I checked, free thought, free ideas,
and free opinions are the backbone of the principles of this country. To think that you have to worry about what
some loser in a cubicle thinks defeats the whole purpose.

Shame on those who make free thinkers feel uncomfortable. They are as Anti American as you can get.

True Americans have balls of steel and titanium torpedoes.
