The threat of ultra-conservatism in America

There is a conspiracy in the works in America today, it's a conspiracy by the political right, and you may be a part of it and not know it.

It's a conspiracy to remove your freedoms, it's a conspiracy to remove your very citizenship, it's a conspiracy to remove any opportunity you can have for a better life and make sure that there are only two classes in society, the uber rich, and the pesants.

They want to make sure that the wealthiest people in the world have all the power and that the people have nothing. They want to make sure that multinational corporations can drain every natural resource out of this planet, polute every drop of water, polute the air, destroy every tree, mine every mountain, and leave you, the pesant with a baron wasteland while you chear them on.

It's no secret that the political right in this country wants to repeal the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution in order to make sure that only the select few are granted citizenship.

It's no secret that the political right in this country wants to eliminate the public education system in this country thereby making sure that only the wealthy have access to education.

It's no secret that the political right wants to eliminate the EPA so that multinational corporations can polute the air, water, and land that we need to live on.

It's no secret that the political right wants to take your social security in this country and give it to Wall Street.

It's no secret that the political right wants to make sure that adiquate healthcare is only available to those that can afford it.

These are no secrets to you and I, these are things that the political right in the United States campaigns on and they have you clapping for these ideas because they have brainwashed you into thinking that these ideas are good things.

They want to repeal the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution not only to make sure that Latinos aren't granted citizenship, but also to make sure that only the elite are granted citizenship, that only the truly deserving in their eyes have access to political positions.

They know that an uneducated populace is easier to control, if they make sure that only the select elite have access to education they can ensure that only the people they want have the opportunities in life to succeed.

They know that without an evironmental protection agency they can strip mine and drill and polute every square inch of this country till there is nothing left for you to breathe, or drink and there will be nothing and no one you can go to about it.

They know that if you give your money to Wall Street it can be lost again and again with zero accountability, saying of course “Well that's the risk of the Stock Market” while they laugh all the way to the bank.

They know that without an adiquate education you won't get a job that has any benefits and therefore will die sooner, they want you to get sick and die sooner because if you are able to live a healthy and long life, in a job that pays a decent living wage you may learn enough to know that you are being had by the system.

The only opportunity the political right wants the pesants to have in this country is to join military service, that way they can send your children off to fight and die for their economic interests in far off lands and give your widdows or parents a folded flag as thanks.

But theres some darker things that the political right is doing in this country that you may not know about.

The political right wants to take away your freedom to worship as you see fit. They find other religions besides Christianity “dangerous” to their political agenda. They continously demonize and dehumanize any other religion so that you will hate them just for their beliefs. They want to turn this war on terror into a holy war, the ultimate goal of course is the destruction of the mosque in Israel called the Dome of the Rock so that they can rebuild King Solomon's Temple on that spot and (they hope) start the Apocolypse. But they can't do that as long as the American people still have the freedom to worship as they see fit, that's why they have launched an impressive propaganda campaign against Islam and want to make sure that you are afraid of Muslims and think that there is a suicide bomber under your bed.





The political right wants to destroy racial equality in this country, that is why they have launched an impressive propaganda campaign against Latinos. They want you to think that all Latinos are illegal and therefore not human, and not deserving of any inaliable rights that all people have. They don't want you to accept any other race besides whites and have set up an impressive network of groups in order to make sure that the American people see all other races besides caucasian as a threat. This way if they succeed, they can have an ethnic cleansing of America to get rid of all the undesirables.

But in order to do any of this, the political right needs you to be onboard, that is why they have their massive propaganda campaigns going in full force. This is why they want you to believe the President is a Muslim/Socialist/Communist/Kenyan. Because he is of the opposition party, they don't like him because of his race, they don't like him because of his ideals, they don't like him because he is exaclty what they DON'T want America to be. They DON'T want America to be a land of opportunity, they DON'T want America to be a land of religious freedom, they DON'T want America to be a land of racial equality because if this land is all of those things, they will never succeed in their goals.

The political right wants to also repeal the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution in order to reinstate slavery in this country. Because what good are pesants anyway if you can't turn them into slaves?

I know, many conservatives don't like Article I Section 8 of the United States Constitution. They feel that section is a mistake and think that the government shouldn't do anything at all about environmental pollution and think that regulations on financial institutions is just unbearable.

I know many conservatives feel that every single Latino in the United States today is here illegally, despite the reality that some actually came here legally, or were born to parents who came here legally, but still, to the conservatives all Latinos are illegal.

I know many conservatives think that every Muslim is a terrorist and that every Muslim wants to destroy us. It's amazing that me a white guy can go to Arab restaurants here in Michigan and leave with my head intact

Oh pish-posh. While I give you kudos for putting together a good thread, I have to disagree with your hypothesis. The conspiracy you speak of is founded in some rather rational thought.

The 14th Amendment isn't about citizenship, it's about Section 4. "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned."

Why can't we question the public debt? When we spend like drunken sailors (apologies to drunk sailors everywhere) we need to know how much of a good time we had and how much it cost and why we needed it.

The elimination of the US Department of Education is not about making sure the wealthy have access to schools, rather it is about getting rid of a bureaucratic government agency that was formed in 1980. Since its inception, it has set "minimum standards" that has done nothing to improve the education of American students and has in fact gone so far as dumbing down kids so that they can no longer compete in a global workforce.

As far as the elimination of Social Security, I agree. What started out as a voluntary system to invest some of you wages into a government backed retirement account has now become a mandatory investment into government greed. Congress has continually looted funds from the Social Security account to balance budgets, fund wars, etc. ad nauseum. Let the people decide where and how to invest their money for retirement.

When it comes to healthcare, I am 100% against doctors, big pharma and hospital administration boards. I should be able to choose if I want to buy healthcare for myself and my family, not the government forcing me to buy it. Repealing healthcare has nothing to do with taking it away from poor people or letting cancer patients be denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition. It is about my choice to decide to buy it or not.

The Environmental Protection Agency, this is the government agency that wants to treat milk spilled on dairy farms as an oil spill because of the fat content but stood by and watched as millions of gallons of petroleum gushed into the Gulf. They are also the agency that wants to regulate the dust generated on farms and the same agency in bed with Monsanto. Need I say more?

I think I've responded to all your major points. If it were not so late I would provide evidence to back up my replies but alas, that is probably another thread.

No I am talking ACTUAL SLAVERY, there are groups of ultra conservatives that want to replace the 13th Amendment with some BS one that they made up. The goal of this is of course to legalize REAL SLAVERY again in this country. I am not making this up, nor is it absurd.

I don't like the 'ultra' side of either affiliation, anything extreme is too much.
But let's face facts here...
The gov't does NOT need to do anything besides write laws and pass bills.
The interference into the daily lives of citizens, by Acts, or laws...needs to cease.
Liberals want more control because they think Americans are stupid.
They don't think, the people, can make rational decisions.
In some cases, they're right...but that doesn't mean they should make them for us.
The Conservatives give people too much credit...

Our Gov't is a bloated group of greedy people, and both right and left only care about money.

I am all for keeping our rights, cleaning our air/water/soil, but not at the cost of taxmoney.


The entire problem stems from Americans thinking that they are entitled to do whatever they want/can to make a dollar. Either by destruction, or corruption, we don't seem to care about the after effects of stripping our natural resources....but here's my question to you WUK....

How would you go about producing industrial goods(gas,steel,plastic)without harming our environment?

Conservatives want to make sure that unless you are the wealthy elite YOU HAVE NO ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE. They don't want anyone but the wealthy to have insurance, they don't want regulation on insurance companies dropping a customer because they cost too much, or deny coverage because of a pre existing condition.

I agree with the OP the Ultra Conservatives and the Ultra Liberals are both groups to watch out for. I do not trust either party that much. I think we need to move towards a third party system. What really needs to happen in this country is the electing of a independent. Anything that will throw the whole two party system off its kilter for awhile. As long as it isn't that American Socialist Party Guy that runs all the time.

The point is that America needs something new and way to show TPTB that they are no longer the only ones that can run America. If everyone went out and voted for an independent instead of a Democrat/Republican then it would really mess up that system. These two parties are the only two that ever get a seat in the White House and they pick there candidates up to 8 years in advance. If you think that the likes of Obama or McCain decided that they wanted to be President on there own then you are mistaken. Someone from the RNC or DNC was like hey we want you to be our guy this year.

You make some very interesting points, OP. Those things are real threats.
But one thing you fail to point out ..perhaps because you don't realize
it yet, is the whole left/right paradigm is BS. It's there to keep us
distracted and divided. As long as we continually blame everything on
either the liberals or conservatives, Blacks/Latinos/Whites, Democrat
or Republican, etc. etc. we will never see what is truly going on here.
And more importantly we will never be able to do anything about it.
TPTB have a vested interest in keeping us that way. Sure there may
be an ultra conservative conspiracy. But who is the power behind the
power here? We are constantly being told who our enemies are.

Uhh, I was born at night but it wasn't last night. I think for myself and unlike some, I don't believe that the sky is falling because the GOP controls the House. Looking at both sides of an argument is key to understanding the real issue at hand.

Bottom line is, people are fed up with busting their humps to pay for programs that benefit the elite. People are tired of getting micro-manged and regulated down to being told what kind of light bulbs they can use, what they can eat, where they can park their cars and when they can have a garage sale.

Without trying to make this a personal attack on your politics, you need to understand that many, many Americans have had enough of the "hope and change" and just want to be able to make the most of their lives the best way they see fit without being told how, when, where, why and how to do it.

I can understand that, but we don't need to steal everyone's citizenship in the process. We don't need to lift all regulations on businesses so that they can rape and piliage this land till their greedy pockets are full either. I don't know about you, but I like the idea of having clean air to breathe, and clean water to drink and to be able to go to a national park without it being turned into a strip mining operation or a toxic waste dump.

Disband all political parties, then disband the entire Govt.

Start over fresh.
Anyone ever associated with a party is not allowed to run for any office ever again. Maybe not the best solution but its a start.

Subjective statement The conservative platform - necessary regulations on environmental pollution are fine, but excessive and unnecessary ones that are strangling business and that are in place just to force people to buy into so called 'green technology' (which the elite democrats have heavily invested in) is what is objectionable. I tend to agree with the OP about healthcare and education, but the citizenship conspiracy is stupid. Jus soli is an illogical ad-hoc idea, and should have been repealed long ago. Citizenship should be only inherited (jus sanguinis). There is a good reason why jus soli is not used at all in most of the world.
