How Do I Get Rid of Spy/Adware??

Everytine I close my browser, or change websites, I got these annoying pop-up ads. I tried in Internet explorer to block the cookies from the ads, but they still coming coming. It's a never-ending attack! How do I stop them? Any free downloads?

Yes at www.freewarefiles.com, they have a decent pop up blocker and some stuff to remove spy/adware.

Ad Aware is indeed a very good program. The update there definitions very often. But for a very deep clean you should purchase Spy Sweeper. It has found things that Ad Aware hasn't been able to find.

I recommend, in addition to Adaware, Spybot S&D and Spywareblaster.

You might also want to try Avast! antivirus software.

Not only will this protect your computer against viruses, but it will also seek and destroy trojans that are hidden in your system and cannot be caught by Spybot and Adawre. They not only give you more pop-ups but they also can track everything you do on your computer.

Install that and then have it run on reboot - Be sure to be at your computer when you reboot so you can give it commands for what to do when it finds one...
