If God had a father, would He be ashamed of his Son?

Just to make sure you understand the premise. I am asking that we consider a Grand Father to Jesus type of God the Father who would be father to God the Father.


Grandfather God the father to God the father of Son/Jesus.

Couple that with the fact that God has been labeled, with evidence, as jealous and proud of it, a petty tyrant, unjust, unforgiving, immoral, a control freak, racist, sexist, chauvinistic, vindictive, ethnic cleanser, misogynistic, homophobic, infanticide, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniac and other undesirable character traits and one could build a case that says that God is a God sized A hole.

To me, one of his most disturbing traits is being a total coward by not having the balls to step up himself for the hard task of sacrifice, but instead, sending his young son to die in his stead. Any mother or father would be more responsible than this in our human culture. Most of us believe that we are to bury our fathers and are incensed with the thought of burying our sons.

Take a bow human mothers and fathers and denounce the genocidal coward we call God.

If not, why do you support his religion and promote his policies. That is insane as the women shown in this clip and her husband who sits back and let’s her.

I can appreciate the benefits of faith, spirituality and religiosity and recognize the good churches bring to community but surely to God, we should only support churches that preach a common good and not the exclusionary churches who preach the God described above.

People are beginning to change but to me, not quickly enough. Here is an example of inclusive churches against exclusive churches who discriminate without just cause.

Summoning all Christian warriors! I am not a Christian, but I will chime in on this. For your argument to hold water, you have to assume that Jesus did exist. Also, the story that is presented to us is free from corruption. Both of those elements are not easy to determine, so all we are left with is conjecture.

However, for the sake of discussion, I believe Jesus did exist, however, the Bible is flawed, hijacked by others to hide and manipulate his true purpose of being here. Not only is this documented, but looking at what Christianity was back in the day to what it is now is almost laughable. Nonetheless, his purpose was not to make us do anything, but to show us a path in which we could use our free will to follow or not.

So, believing that, I don't think he would be upset at all. Although, if and when we find out, I am sure it will be a very interesting tale.

Grandpa God would be kicking his kid's nuts until his leg went numb. Then he'd wear out his other leg on the kid's nuts. Foot into nuts, over and over, and for a long, long time.

Good thing it's all horsesh*t. No one wants an omnipotent psycho with sore nuts running loose.

I'm surprised not many joined in on this debate

Withholding my personal beliefs/understandings and looking at the Bible in its entirety:
Lord God of the Old Testament is pretty..... mean? Scary? Racist? Genocidal? Merciless?
We're not talking our modern culture or opinion, we're talking straight-out-the-Bible readings!
Kill all indigenous of the Land of Milk and Honey.
Kill women, elderly, children, and infant babies of the indigenous of the Promised Land.
Kill all non-believers, homosexuals, witches, blasphemers, etc., etc.
Demands spilt-blood sacrifice from animals, and later His Son.
Devastates with natural disasters, plague, famine, disease, war...
And then He destroys the world (Noah's Flood), destroys entire cities (Sodom and Gomorah), Personally kills multitudes.
And how does he test people's faith and loyalty? With misfortune and affliction in the case of Job. With a command ordering Abraham to kill his son. *** Let's elaborate right here!!! *** We have Abraham... this wonderful patriarch of humanity... this man that KNOWS God is real, KNOWS God's power. Poor Abraham was ordered by Lord God to kill his own son as a sacrifice. Abraham knew this entity that ordered his son's death could destroy him, all of mankind, and all that we know. Abraham must've been heart-broken and terrified. He was so afraid he didn't dare disobey God, and almost killed his son.

A Loving, Merciful God that teaches through with evil, affliction, and misfortune. A Compassionate God that constantly threatens us and demands our fear. A God that gave a gift of free-will, yet demands complete obedience to His Command.

Grandfather God might not be ashamed of God the Father, but I am!!!
On the other-hand, Jesus gave Grandfather God a reason to be proud.

Jesus said;

"By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them."
- Matthew 7:16-20

Jesus sure was a fruition of light! A Good Fruit. If he is to be believed, then he cannot be from a bad tree. Therefore, the God of the Old Testament must be a man-made Lie!!!

If you believe that Jesus did exist, then you are literally believing a book you call corrupted.

If he did exist and is part of the trinity that shows itself to be a genocidal maniac in the O T, then why would you trust anything a genocidal maniac would say and how could a grandfather God respect a genocidal son. ?
