Austin Considers $50 a year, unlimited electric car charging service

It might not be very convenient at the moment, but remember that this technology is fairly new. (or so they want us to think at least)

The larger it gets, the cheaper it will become. The electric cars will eventually get cheaper as the technology becomes more common. Thats the way I see it at least.

Those buying electric cars now are the pioneers so that the rest of us will be able to in the future.
