'Snow Bomb' hits South Korea

photoblog.msnbc.msn.com

The biggest snowfall in a century has buried cities in eastern South Korea and prompted rescue operations involving some 12,000 soldiers, as the coldest winter in years grips the peninsula.
Hundreds of motorists were stranded and dozens of buildings collapsed after more than a metre of snow fell over some parts of the region over the weekend. The weather bureau has forecast more heavy snow for the region on Monday.
The country's capital, Seoul, and main industrial hubs were not affected by the storm.
The heavy snow comes just a few weeks after temperatures hit record lows, causing the Han

Another very powerful storm...is this still just coincidence??? All over the world, weather records are being broken that are decades old. This is getting crazy and seems like the world is climaxing to something big. What is that "something" everyone?? Is there a something at all?? Is this all normal??

I cant wait till my country gets global cooling so i can enjoy toasty summers. But with all this global warming were getting its gotten pretty cold as of late, minus 20 in some parts, gonna take a hell of a lot of global cooling to raise temperatures to an acceptable level.

This is how ice ages begin. It doesn't necessarily get colder - in fact warmer oceans create more precipitation and if combined with cold from north, they collide and create what you see here in these photos.

These crazy storms are just the beginning as the "balance" continues to topple. Once the oceanic currents stop exchanging warm and cold water, they will both get more extreme, and that's when huge, epic snow storms begin to bury the northern mid latitudes.

Is North Korea affected too? This would bring absolute devastation.

No mention of North Korea in reports. It looks to be concentrated in the South.

Maybe "snow bomb" the right phrase!

As i live in Australia, we just had the biggest wet in 100 years apparently. Everything these days is the biggest in 100 years. Did anyone stop and think maybe its a cycle.
