I am completely convinced that these astronauts are either knowingly part of or unknoqingly part of a disinfo campaign.

I firmly believe that a huge part of this alien stuff pushed in the media is by our government to hide or onscure the fact that our governemnt had developed these super technolgies like antigravity.

Remmeber.. with secret technology you don't just have to hide it from your enemies.. you have to hide it from your own people too otherwise it will definitely leak to your enemies..

From what I have seen i am convinced thiss tech was developed by the Germans in WWII.. when our military people reported foo fighters and assumed they were alien it gave our own government the idea to use to hide this tech -- aliens. Flying saucers were also perfect for evading radar.. his may be why the GErmans chose this shape to avoid allied radar in WWII.

I think presidents might also be told that there are aliens as well.. this could explain Reagan's weird comment...

Moon footage was faked in order to release to public the real footage includes the truth plain and simple and your not allowed to know period... When the time comes you will see ALL there will be no way to avoid it put it that way... I know you may have talked to these guys before, but im hoping there may be more out there than just your word. How do you feel about all the other quotes? Are they all bogus in your opinion?

Congratulations to the original poster. The original post was a great spot. Unfortunately, i really think we all have to take whatever Dr Mitchell says with the biggest pinch of salt. With the greatest respect to a man who has achieved more in his life than i could in my wildest dreams, i think Dr Mitchell knows as much about this as i do. Firstly, Dr Mitchell has jumped on the ufology band wagon by claiming to have grown up in roswell see his 2008 interview with kerrang. I am not sure, bit o think Dr mitchell grew up in Texas? secondly, Dr mitchell was a bit on the eccentric side before he got anywhere near the moon. That is to say, he was stuffing esp and consciousness and conducted his own private esp experiments en route to the moon. finally, you have to take into account the circles Dr Mitchell now moves in i.e. He is very much in with this Greer chap who has no doubt make is fair share of cash out of his "knowledge" of et. Dr Mitchell is very much in favour of a global government with a treaty to advance space travel which is very much against what most governments want to invest in right now. Perhaps, just perhaps, Dr Mitchell ostensibly saying all this to advance the political agenda that he and his associates support. Oh and for the record, i believe that we have been visited, i just don't think Dr Mitchell has any knowledge or proof. And for the love of jeebus, man went to the moon, there wasn't much there and so there wasn't a huge reason to go back. Yes a lot pf stuff was said on the mission transcripts, bit they were bored and at one point mooted the idea of entering buzz into a porridge eating contest, doesn't mean it happened. All those ufo speculation only serves to make a small minority rich and distract us further from the truth.

Jim , I am not looking to get onto an argument with you , in fact I respect you for your work on the space program and the part you played at NASA .

The link in the OP was to a site hosting the audio file and the other link I posted was to an ATS thread that I have no control over .
If you are saying that I new that a link that I posted " had some bogus data on it " please show your proof .
I did a search for the topic that had been asked about by another member , found the thread and posted it .
I do not " know " if any of the reports of Astronauts believing in ET are bogus as I do not have direct access to them to ask .
Maybe you could post the evidence you have to back up your claim?

no need to get into arguments. I agree a central site might help to collect all the repudiations and corrections issued by astronauts to the misuse of their names -- it can be difficult to weed out one or two 'debunking' items from thousands of mindless repetitions of original myths.

I have to say this: when you talk about posting evidence to back up my claims [a responsibility I accept], where have you ever seen pro-UFO claims about astronauts/UFOs including posted evidence? The same stories just keep being reposted and reposted. You just seem to have automatically believed them. See a bias here? Consider it a teachable moment?

Another example would be Frank Borman's "bogie" quotation from Gemini-7. Is there any search engine that leads you to his OWN denunciation of that story? I think that's a real problem with how Google and others are structured -- and how much people can be misled by thinking they can find pro-con evidence using the tools..
