all this 'stuff' about 2012.. just listen to their instruments...

the Jaguar stringed instrument can be heard at this website plus other flutes they used (with pictures and interactive sounds)

amazing what were they thinking?

A scale replica of the instrument depicted on the vessel was first heard in 1998, at a Dumbarton Oaks conference on pre-Columbian music and iconography.


I had never heard of Dumbarton Oaks and was pleased to find that it's in Washington, D.C., which is near where I live: Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection.

I wanna see a jaguar dance!! I searched YouTube and there's one for the Aztecs, but not the Maya.
