How come not a single one has changed the world?

The issues are real simple, and real easy to fix...

The problem is that each has stated so far no violence can be used... each must use their concious...

I cant see it working...

I will give you credit Shame can be powerful, even a weapon but no results....

Using facebook, twitter, protest, boycotts, walkouts, strikes, ect how come not a single one has been solved...

World hunger...
With modern technologies, mass production of food along with just ups or fed-ex can deliver it around the world so thats no excuse...

Hydroponics

so production abitility is no excuse... Ill bet with even the present food fields it is just a matter of distibuting the food... American dumpsters could be fed to the world hungry and they would get fat...

so, Why no program to shame world governments and corperations to feed the people? No campaigns designed to do such...


Disease...
Look at what happened on Hati... this was post earthquake...

Most of the spread of all diseases that plague the world are PREVENTABLE... it is the simple truth...

another example STD's... or the common cold... they all are... no one is willing to do anything about them...

Elimination completely of disease world wide is easy to accomplish without a war crime... Prevention of transfer simplest method...

Water Filitration

Hospitals can isolate those with flu, colds, or pnumonia... kill it now (I know violence so I am off a wee bit) and the economy saves billions in sick days... (military too)

no new host wont most of them die... done world wide no more disease....


Garbage dumps...
I refuse to accept the answers I have been given here.... the technology exist to reduce all of it.. if done right a lot of money could be made doing it to....

it is a real basic technology yet nadda...


Pollution-
This is the easiest fix of all..

Zero tolerance with no exceptions world wide... Now dont feed me the garbage over the economy... with the recycling tech mentioned above new jobs replace as storage of materials and reprocessing of into base materails becomes required

Poverty-
On this one I can only speak to america... why here?

We are the greatest most powerful country in the world..

why are old mericans and children still starving? where are ther protestors...

Why cant all parents have the best schools for there children.. ( i know the illogic in that statement its retorical)

why cant the basic resources be afforded yet congressmen who are in prison for crimes commited while in office still getting pensions...

Why does it cost about an hour of work at minumum wage to but two gallons of gas?

Why where billions spent on the election yet teachers and LEO's pay is falling with jobs being cut... Mayors and city councils contribute nothing yet get paisd thousands and spend thousand to run for office...

This is an easy fix... This is part of redistibution no american will argue with... Redistribute from corrupt officials... can you say the same in your country, would it work to take from the corrupt..

sorry side rant but the point is why are we poor...

Taxes will not work because they will just pass it on to the consumer... business 101...

So why has no one peaceful come up with a way? how do you get everyone enjoying wealth...



Prison-
What does this accomplish?

where are the people on this... people being detain for not buy state mandated product forced to manufacture said product...

this is a serious problem... once again easy solution...


mental health and prisons

easy fix... mando health screening upon arrest... treatment will help lower those in...

I can vouch on two levels...

a friend is a former prison gaurd...
with treatment and removal after treatment, even he agreed with this piece of liberal crap he called it.. that over 50% would not be there or back in...

another friend was out on parole in a half way house... he went to mhmr... well lets say he never made it back to the house...

He was getting worried, time was ticking... the doctor told him not worry the overide the law on this... he was going up north.. he thought the doctor had lost it... till the sherriff should up with his free ride to the mental hospital...

over ten years of in and out of prison could have been stopped the first time in.. BTW pure schitz was diagnosis

that was five years of resources wated by the state of texas when the problem was something else..

as for the smart cons... that is the next part of the argument right...

well get ride of the face to face and make it over the line(net...) with several docotrs watching via video

those in for drugs kick em out and fine them...

Why is no organization protesting this issue when no man should be caged like an animal.. either put the dog out of its misery or teach it... CPS would take your child if you put them in time out for over a few hours...

teach, yes with negative reinforcment, but not continual babysitng... there should be about three prisons in the us that is it... three we are wasting to many resources on politics


Drug war-
I see this as a huge problem...

Sick the IRS on them... (merica) go after the money.. steal all of their cash and credit and watch them fall... (I never said theft was not an option just violence )

tax it to death... keep the prices just make a j cost ten with taxes... (no I am not a user I am just pragmatic)



Corruption-
it is easier to fix then any of the above, but the one that will never get done...
for any peacful solution to work the corruption must be dealt with...

Again the only way to stop it it is with the lime light and theft... again steal all there money....

no money,no ability to fight off the lime light.... they fall big time... big time...

yet I have yet to see this done... just mostly a shrug world wide...


Sex Slave trade-
This is an easy fix... so easy I cant believe it... Sieze all those who are involved cash... plaster their names so all the parents families and brothers can see it.. ( i know a violation but it is hard to do this with no violence)

but a plastering of all their information should get a blacklist on the perps..

then the magic word is the Union... unionize the sex workers... tax them and thier bosses... health rules and requirements (i.e. treat it like an industry)

How many governments now want the taxes... after all you have to provide at least proof of minimum wage payments,health checks, and ta da an industry that will prevent the underside...

ex- casinoes.... yes still some corruption but monitored and less violence then originally


so why has peace not solved these problem that are among the easiest to fix... heres why...

I am playing the human nature card....

I believe the human animal is selfish and will not behave in such a way as to make this possible... The ones with power will not let it go without violence they understand nothing else

So in the interest of this post.. Without an ounce of violence how can peace and brains save the world from its problems...

Even in one of the better book I have read, enders game the whole series, Peter takes over the world in the end because of the army trained by bean and manipulation... That is the use of violence this requires the use of none...

I do not believe it can be done... you have to use violence at some point ... show me how this can be done without violence...

in conclusion...

How can non-violence (meaning as in no violence used) solve the worlds problems

world hunger, disease, garbage dumps, pollution,poverty, prisons drug war, sex slaves...

I see a mix of violence and other means stopping it not non violence... How can ghandi's plan work...

Well for starters the change of power in the executive branch is part of that tradition of non-violence... the world watched in awe as washington handed over the reins to adams... without bloodshed... it was the same as adams later did..

with the signing of a pen a whole part of the american population was granted equal status insociety via offical...

note violence did result as those who disagree decided to act out...


Andrew Jacksons election after the votes where rigged.... he reran again and won... note not a revolution...

the very formation of the us constitution was an act of non-violence but it was trickery and deal cutting...done illegally as some claim...

the underground railroad... ht shout out...

Even now I will give the liberals credit on one thing... the present strategy in military actions is not working....

The question you need to stop and think about is: "What can violence do in a world of peace?"

The U.S. sends billions of dollars in aid to countries in Africa, subsidizing groups that are trying to teach people how to be productive - to grow food, to drink clean water, prevent diseases, etc.

Why doesn't it work? Because, and you're going to call me a racist, they are plagued by savages. Many of the "militias" are tantamount to gangs, and the nationally funded armies aren't much better. Being the owner of anything with value (such as food) makes you a target. No one wants to be productive because the gangs and thugs will then take what you have (or otherwise make it more trouble than it ends up being worth).

One of our national guard units was recently over in Afghanistan, teaching a number of the local farmers agricultural techniques to growing food-type crops. The major challenges were not the environment, so much as it was that Poppies used for opium manufacturing are far more profitable, and the remnants of the Taliban were 'encouraging' the continued production of opium.

I focus a lot on agriculture - but the founding of all functional society hinges on agriculture. The separation between the third world and the second world is availability of food. The separation between the second world and the first world is the availability of meats.

So in the interest of this post.. Without an ounce of violence how can peace and brains save the world from its problems...

Simple. I can solve all of the world's problems with but a few simple thoughts. All people have to do is do what I tell them to do.

Since my experience tells me that's rather unlikely to happen, it's not my place to try and save the world from its problems. I'm simply going to do what I can to keep myself and those I care about provided for and safe. I will do the best I can to not harm other people while doing so, and helping those I can along the way.

The reason people seek power is so that they can do what they want to do. It's also the reason they cling to power. If I had more power, then I could do more to save the world from its problems... and inherently become part of one of the world's problems by obtaining power and being unwilling to let go "because there is still more to do."
