Springsteen was born in Long Branch, New Jersey

Don McLean was born in New Rochelle, New York

Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi.

All three got something in common. They were born in the U.S.A. Fabulous artists and something about the title of these tracks...

Anything will do, as long as the title contains US, USA or AMERICA

You don't have to declare Yourself a patriot. It's all about the music. And you'll still get a star
Your turn

Sorry I had to do it...

All jokes aside, I remember liking the Bruce Springsteen song you posted when I was younger. I am not American but I lived there for a while, and the song had a catchy tune for the 80s.

I am also a fan of Elvis. No one beats the "King".

I have seen The Boss live twice and he is awsome but are you aware that Born In The USA is an anti American song. Just listen to the lyrics.

That's fantastic. Lucky You. He's written some awesome songs, defining all walks of life. He's a genius

Sure you're right. BITU is "anti American" :

Born down in a dead man town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that's been beat too much
Till you spend half your life just covering up

Born in the u.s.a., I was born in the u.s.a.
I was born in the u.s.a., born in the u.s.a.

Got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man

Born in the U.S.A...

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man said son if it was up to me
Went down to see my v.a. man
He said son, don't you understand

I had a brother at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there, he's all gone

He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now

Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years burning down the road
Nowhere to run aint got nowhere to go

Born in the u.s.a., I was born in the u.s.a.
Born in the u.s.a., I'm a long gone daddy in the u.s.a.
Born in the u.s.a., born in the u.s.a.
Born in the u.s.a., I'm a cool rocking daddy in the u.s.a.

Thanks for all the great contributions

I would say more anti military. The military is infamous for recruiting kids in small towns that have no where to go.

On the heels of that is another good one, Jack and Diane.

I have to add my personal favorite. I love Lenny Kravitz.

For the record on teh biker chicks in the video, I have never seen a biker chick look like that.

And we even have a lot of rolodex bikers around here.

Is that Kristen Stewart?
