These are the prices currently being tagged in the Arctic region. Why it costs so much is I am assuming to costs alot to get the food out there and on the shelf. If anyone on these boards lives or lived recently in this region please enlighten us to this being a normal practice or not. This is a sure sign of things to come. Get ready NOW. I should add that it is kind of entertaining that all the complete junk food on this list is more expensive than the basics. Pay more to poison yourself I am assuming.

Cheeze Whiz: $29.99
Instant Noodles Pack: $3.99
Small Jar of Honey 8oz: $11.99
Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice: $38.99
Frozen Breaded Chicken 15 pieces: $77.39
Imperial Margarine 3lb container: $27.99
1/2 lb package of spaghetti: $13.29
Chocolate Frosting ( barf ): $10.65
Nunavut Infant Formulate 730grams: $40.99

Having friends in northern canadian communities I can tell you that food is very pricey as they bring it all in for the year by barge during the summer months and store it for the rest of the year, some of those communitie sare only accessible by plane. So that being said It depends on where those prices came from. Given the mention of Nunavit I suspect your looking at a fly in only area.

Cheese Whiz will be out of business in 60 days!

I did see milk at $4 a gallon down in the lower 48. I thought that was pretty high?
