this article is funny. for such a brief story it really tries to make sure nobody gets too concerned with this happening for the umphteenth time. if these mystery die offs happen every year and are absolutely no big deal, then why do necropsies? why spend money to have analysis performed to investigate a 100% natural normal phenomenon? the birds were "likely flying erratically"? what is this statement based on?

Wow this is my area and I have not heard a peep about this locally. Of course I have not heard the local news today and I am at work now, but when I will look into it when I get home and post anything I find out.
