But maybe in like places like digg, the gov can have people watch these forums and make sure flag system is abused to drop down important threads.

Not saying it happens, but it may be. The gov is bound to be here, and it does not take many different ips to bring alot of flags sometimes to strange threads.

See this is exactly why I created this thread. Maybe now more people will keep a eye out for pointless threads that get abandoned after a hour due to in activity on the op's part too keep the reader involved. Thanks for sharing.

Man I cant agree with you more. I stopped logging in and became a quiet observer a while ago. I created anew account because I noticed this too and came on just to say so.
