Surfing the web and came across this interesting read..

Empires communicate in two languages. One language is expressed in imperatives. It is the language of command and force. This militarized language disdains human life and celebrates hypermasculinity. It demands. It makes no attempt to justify the flagrant theft of natural resources and wealth or the use of indiscriminate violence. When families are gunned down at a checkpoint in Iraq they are referred to as having been “lit up.” So it goes. The other language of empire is softer. It employs the vocabulary of ideals and lofty goals and insists that the power of empire is noble and benevolent. The language of beneficence is used to speak to those outside the centers of death and pillage, those who have not yet been totally broken, those who still must be seduced to hand over power to predators. The road traveled to total disempowerment, however, ends at the same place. It is the language used to get there that is different.

Recognizing the Language of Tyranny...

I am interesting in hearing your collective opinion on this subject.
I think it is very true to the way things have been run for a very long time. In fact now that I set and think about it I don't think any of the Empires of past or present could have become what they were without this subtle sort of trickery.
An amazingly simple solution to an enormously complex problem like building an empire with the full support of your nation. Which leads me to believe that the solution to ending that very same empire is just as simple.

Spot on the money! Also similar is the language of law, Latin, used primarily to obfusticate and confuse. Using language barriers as a way of corruption is rife, especially today, in many cultures that push propaganda. (even 'free' nations') S&F bro!

It's double speech.

The words actually have opposite meanings.

Examples:

We will bring Peace to the Middle East = We will bring War...

We will give them Democracy = We will tell them what to do ( Authoritarianism)

Fluoride helps your teeth stay healthy = It keeps you docile so we don't have to beat your teeth out

We defend Freedom = We defend Our freedom to Enslave You

Our whole language is packed full of double speech.
The mainstream media pumps it out daily. We citizens repeat it daily.

This strategy is employed to confuse and dilute the awareness of the population. It keeps us running in circles while failing to grasp onto the truth about what is really happening here.

That is why we must learn these "other" languages. We must apply wit to turn the tables.

These "other languages" are jam packed with "loopholes" that the elite use daily to get away with pretty much whatever they do.

We can start using these "loopholes" as well. This will prove the system inherently unstable and in theory will act as a wrench being thrown into the machine.

So let us study diligently and research relentlessly.
Redemption is upon us!

It is double speak to an extent, probably more for the folks who aren't in the centers of death. But for those who are in the center of death double speak wouldn't work because they are around the truth as it occurs. They know that they are not bringing peace to the middle east because they are killing on a daily basis. For those in the centers of death, like Afghanistan and Iraq, it is required to hate the natives or see themselves as superior or more civilized than those living in the war torn chaos. When you look at it it has been happening that way throughout history.

Like with the natives of America when the spaniards arrived, the spaniards saw savages that needed to be saved by their more civilized society.
