They are going to root folks out of the rural areas into these cities so as to enable easier oversight of them. It is becomming too easy to diseminate information and the remote rural areas are too open for accurate information to spread, especially in border areas. These cities will be electronic prisions.

They will push folks into these mega cities and totally clamp down on any and all outside communication. Non-Chinese will have to receive special permission to enter into them

The funny thing is that the west will love these cities. They will be green, they will look cool and modern, they will be the wave of the future. "oh now we can see why it will be the Chinese century". "look at the cool trains - see, the Chinese have got it - they are not using carbon based fuels in these cities". Meanwhile the Potemkin village won't be exposed for what it is. Folks being shuttled to jobs not of their choice and forced into performing them under the threat of the jackboot.

They won't tell you the reality and thats the trains won't run effectively, when they made them they dumped the chemical waste right into the ground water and that the cool buildings will be falling down in about 5 years due to substandard materials and shoddy workmanship.

Remember all the bluster about how fantastic the Chinese were with their Olympic venues and how it was a demonstration of how the directed economy and the worker's paradise was a thing of beauty? Be interesting to have a bit of reporting on them now. They are falling apart.

The Romans could use ropes and chisels and build aquaducts that still work today. The modern Chinese with all of their money, engineering and education can't build a stadium that lasts for a decade.

Those are some major claims, source for your info please.

The Chinese have been forcing migrations for centurys, the latest two being Ulghur's in China’s Yunnan Province and the forced labor to construct the Chinese Olympic venues. The former including the forced migration of 300,000 women to forced labor camps.

peakwater.org...
www.bloomberg.com...

The Chinese have a long history of treating human beings like simple tools, which of course under communism they are.

Quality issues with Chinese products and construction are common.

General quality and corruption in the Chinese construction industry

www.telegraph.co.uk...

Chinese drywall under goes massive recall due to fire issues:
www.chinesedrywall.com...

Faulty Chinese turbines
www.dup.org.uk...

Faulty Chinese steel
chestertontribune.com...

When you force people to work, guess what, you get poor quality output. They are using the same crap building their own infrastructure they are selling the rest of the world.

Thanks but I should've made myself clear. I want sources for your claims that these brand new cities are 'electronic prisons' that will not have communication to the outside world and that non-Chinese will not be permitted to enter.

It is very obvious about forced migration and the corruptions that runs rampant through local officials and enterprise executives. It is disgusting the things people in general will do for profit.

It's being done to prop up GDP. Simple as that. In an interview with CNBC's Jim Chanos, he said that:

“Construction is 60-plus percent of GDP, compared to exports of 5 percent... The problem is that consumption as a percentage of Chinese economy has declined in the last 10 years, from 40 to 35 percent. It’s all real estate...When construction is 60 percent of your economy, and you are building lots of things that people don’t need, the state may let this get out of control... It’s hard to manage this type of bubble".

www.unconventionaleconomist.com...

They set a GDP target growth, and they cover any difference between actual GDP growth and their target number with construction. Nothing more.

Interesting part about setting target growth numbers is that they've realized where they went wrong and are setting lower targets and focusing more on quality growth, domestic consumption / closing the gap on income disparity.

Seems to have pretty good maintenance for ghost cities. The trees don't water themselves.

Very interesting though. Could be weapons testing, or could be locations to move large numbers of people. China definitely needs to disperse its population... maybe this is their solution instead of creating war just to gain territory.

Hmmm I was under the impression trees had been watering themselves for millions of years? Guess I was wrong!

You want the truth of this?

Ghost town building has a legitimate purpose - the creation of population overspill zones - but the actual purpose is two-fold.

1. To support China's claims of economic growth, to encourage international business investment outside of just the main cities (a current problem).

2. For the Chinese 'elite' to squirrel away public money through corruption ahead of the inevitable arrival of full-scale capitalism.

Source? A friend of mine is married into a Hong Kong family that is doing eye-wateringly well out of insuring ghost projects.

Actually the answer is quite simple: China is the first Country of the World that made an affordable pact with extraterrestrial beings. Extraterrestrials had been trying to make such pacts in the past but they don't tolerate political and elite manipulation of Countries like USA and entities like the UN.
So China is building ghost cities for the time of their massive arrival, for ET's to live here on Earth.
