I just learned the Super Bowl is today.

I was blissfully unaware that today was the super bowl until I was informed in a thread today.

I know the theme of ATS is Deny Ignorance... but I'm actually proud of THIS ignorance. As a matter of fact I will IGONRE the super bowl all together.

With all the wonderful information to explore here on ATS and the free library of the internet ranging from philosophy, metaphysics, history and current events.... I just can't fathom why anyone would be interested in a bunch of men in tight pants running around chasing a ball filled with air... well maybe I can understand it for the women and the homosexual populations...

Now that I have most mad at me... I'll ask why are you mad?

Why is it people will get mad over this game, and not the current decay of our society?

We are being sold out to globalists who repeatedly state they want to kill you or force you into mega-cities while they become lords of the earth. It's not hard to find these quotes... especially here on ATS!

So I think ignoring this football game IS denying ignorance

The ads are the only thing that make people watch the darn game. Man I could go for a Bud right now

Ignorance is bliss and I couldn't care less if the players are gorgeous or not. Football is a violent sport and people do not realize how this is a water-downed version of gladiators fighting in a real life and death version of entertaining the RICH.

That's right! While people paid into spectating, football does nothing to the environment --- lots of snacks from food vendors and poop by human wastes. Watching really puts money into the pockets of the businesses. Look out for weird commercials, too.

Yep, chuckling at the millions and billions thrown around for these football games while our infistructure crumbles...

No, not meant as a judgment. I really have nothing against football or any other entertainment...

I do have a problem with entertainment replacing reality. Our passions are misplaced. Our humanity is becoming subverted into transhumanism. Society is replaced with television and internet... neither bad in themselves, only in the application.

Our minds are becoming numb and our hearts violated with perpetual violence.

ATS trends wonderfully subversive to this culture.

I love football and will watch the super bowl today even though my team is not playing. I can not and will not drive myself crazy worrying about world problems 24/7.

If you don't like football, don't watch, it doesn't bother me in any way shape or form.

The players that play in the CFL are the scrubs who didn't make it in the NFL.

No way on Earth a CFL team would beat an NFL team.
