the makers of China's first stealth demonstrator has teamed up with an american company in order to bid for US defense contracts, including the US President's official helicopter.

"It may sound ludicrous but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen," said John Kirkland, a lawyer for U.S. Aerospace who is directly involved in the negotiations and authorized to speak on the company's behalf.

"We want China to supply aircraft to the U.S. because we think it makes economic sense."

Great, more junk to break down on you, not last a dime's worth, and when you need help, you'll be on the phone with someone for hours that can't even speak your language. This is all we need. But then again, I can see the U.S. government going for this. If nothing else just to make up a small percent of what we already owe China for our dept. Traitors!
Oh wait, I have to shop at Wal-Mart too. They bought out all the small town people that met our demands right here. All because we want crap cheeper. What a paradox.

The Chinese lead paint scandal was actually massively overblown, and eventually led to Mattel (the toy company in question) publicly apologising to its Chinese manufacturers after it admitted the real reason for the recalls were design faults in the original Mattel designs rahter than lead paint content.

But of course that end to the scandal only got a couple of inches on the third or fourth page of the newspapers rather than the week or so of front page exposure the original claims did....

This just shows what absolute idiots are in the US government.

There is a very good reason why ALL our military supplies should be made in the USA and if they can not figure that out they need to be given the boot!
