I know this appears to be an American bash topic but come on here, if the Russians were doing this to the Yanks it would be all over the press how evil and deceitful their actions. I have no doubt that the US Government is one untrustworthy, deceitful, constantly lying, manipulating Ally I would certainly not trust one Iota now after all these Wiki Leaks coming out....its no wonder the Criminals in Washington wanted Assange extradited.

americans (american government) have done alot of deceitful sh!t. just look around on the site. ATS is basically a site dedicated to what " those Deceitful Americans " have done.

The movie "The Falcon and the Snowman" introduced itself to me the idea I had that the USA had screwed over my country ( a staunch Ally and one who followed the US into many wars ) in a subtle way. What else has it done ? well I know we got screwed over in the Free Trade department as well, basically its a one way street and none of it our way.

The problem is not dealing with the Americans as I am an American and betrayal is just something you do not do to your ‘friends’, which the British are, well were, considered to be here in the United States by our government.

Who you really should not trust and never should have is our government, we do not even trust our own government, just look what they did to Mubarak. For years he had been a close friend and now suddenly our government is trying to depose him. Just look what the Obama administration does to its friends. I am telling you, this man is trying to align America with countries that are not our friends for the past half century.

Look how he told Sarkozy that he is America’s greatest ally. Obama is a huge backstabber. We Americans, trust me, are much closer to you Brits then to the French or anyone else. Our friendship is critical with Great Britain and needs to stay that way, not sell-out Britain to get in bed with Russia.

I am not deceitful and I do not lie... I am an american too. I have probably helped more people in one day then you have helped in a year. Yes our govt and your govt others govt are all in this together. They are all corrupt.. Getting tired of reading all this anti american stuff.... One post I just read was some long winded tired rant about how evil america is...No S#!T Our country helps your country and many others regardless of what you perceive. We as Americans have our own problems and our own struggles but we can still manage to help lesser countries with floods and other natural disasters. How is this not a crime? Treasonous seem likely since we are all in on this war-machine fiasco! How would we react if the UK did this to us? Would we go on a rampage like the Americans did over the French and Iraq?
